Goldie goes into the beginnings of Drum N Bass, moving to New York and the spiritual side of his life. - Hudba
The Prodigy, Goldie and Wiley are what made the British music scene progress to where it is now with there musical creativity separating us from the rest of the world with our own sound. When we talk lyrical flow stamping our own British bars it was The Ragga Twins, Rebel Mc and Stevie Hyper D at the early beginning. This is what makes me proud to say I’m British 👊🏻👊🏽👊🏿
I could listen to Goldie talk for hours!!! Thanks Target!!!
needs at least another listen because so many references and like little things
... well, guess I'm listening to it again ;)
I love the way he talks about making his music, it's more of a visual look and feel rather than the hearing audio... Gives absolute zero fucks to what anyone thinks or says, he just does his own thing.
Living Legend......Never be another time in UK like from about 89 to 96.....Those were the days man early hardcore/Breakbeat....To jungle fuckin massive movement that deffo needs more light shining on it.....Important times
Wolverhamtpton OG!! Showing people that it really doesn't matter where you come from, it depends on your mindset and how far you will push yourself to go👌🏻👌🏻
wow..thats probably the best interview done with him in long longtime..he was realxed and target jus opened him up...good stuff.
This guy is severely underrated. He's miles ahead of the likes of Noel Gallagher and even Damon Alburn. Drum and bass was slated by the press when it should have been embraced it was the fusion music 20 years ahead of its time. He talks about hip hop in America being years ahead of the UK but I heard a trap tune that had 1995 baseline sounds of jump up jungle. We should have backed him and guys like mc duke paul Ibiza shut up and dance 4 hero dj ss dj hype. True underground legends.
Nothing will ever come close to growing up in the 70's and 80's and listening to the birth of Dnb.
Smart man!! Great interview!! What a legend and underground music cultural ambassador.
My God!! This interviewing is amazing. I wish he came to speak in the States now. He is the epitome of the hip hop culture.
Big up Goldie & Target for the interview
The blues of this era.

I don't think I've been so excited about listening to an album for 10+ years easy. Really looking forward to sitting down with Goldies time machine.

I need to make a tune with you Goldie. Your mind and musical thinking is on point.

This was by far the best one so far.. really interesting, hopefully they get some more forefathers like Goldie on there, these interviews are good but tbf nearly everyone he's had on there has already been on NFTR and basically just talking about the same shit

To be fair, there are loads of pioneers in DnB but the only one that is versatile is Goldie,
Nope
I still play "terminator" to this day, under the name Rufige Kru, a classic alongside many.

Was a bit let down when I realized he didn't produce is own music.
Get Rob Playford on there...he is actually the unsung hero of Drum and Bass.

ThisIsNotALoveSongggggggggggggggg
Every interview he is talking about the past And it seems he Luvs himself so much..getting tired of it a bit... Back when I was into jungle dnb in 96/97 when we talked about goldie he wasn't that icon that he is now... He was running metalheadz and he knew the right people to push that label forwards.....he was a bad DJ.. I mean he even couldn't mix back in 96/97 and all his productions had to be done from other people because he had not the knowledge or patience to do it for himself... I really liked him back then and I luv the label logos that he did for reinforces and metalheadz and also the sound that they represented in 96-97.....but nowadays he is a bit too lifted... I mean his followers and label customers are mainly teenagers or people that took too much druqs in the 90s that they couldn't develop their music taste / ears a bit and still stucking in that dnb sound and the same people call him a legend.... Jungle/dnb should have never came out of that dark and filthy underground where it was once.... Goldie wanted the fame and the money and did the worst that you can do if you are a spiritual human being... He made profit with something that he Luvs ....I'm proud that this is not my code... Peace
What the fuck you on about, nobody gives a shit
