This is by far the best way to look at trading. I've been trading for over 5 years. This advice is world class. No need for any elaborate BS in trading. Just follow these suggestions and you are 90% of the way there. The other 10% is learning to get an edge.

I just read atomic habits and thought about utilising the same techniques, streaking (start system), making bad habits harder (having a fixed source of income) etc. good stuff Rayner.
Just like when you analyze a stock, 1D1H chart is a close up view the 1Y1D chart is like taking a big step backwards to see the whole picture.

When I working on my full time job, I find it hard to focus on trading and job at same time, especially for slave engineer who always work overtime. I quit my job few months ago and start to focus only on learning trading and trade full time. Although I have savings to support my living expenses for 1 year, the feeling of no fixed income at the beginning of trading is quite frustrated. Thanks Rayner for great video.
I know that feeling. I was fired but got some money for a year but I'm tempted not to look for another job and focus only on trading.

This video looks good, but I want to know as you said to look for big picture. If we go for many trades in a day than how can we concentrate. On the other hand if we look for a particular stock or two than we can understand their behavior in a long run. I may be wrong, please comment.

There's one golden rule that you should always keep in mind and observe when you're investing:
Never invest money that you can't afford to lose. Your first goal should always be to avoid major losses. Don't get greedy. Be patient. Seek the advice of qualified well-regarded investors. Keep your costs low. This recipe may not seem very exciting, but it's been proven to work
for generations again and again. My advice to you guys is to ask yourself this question before risking your hard earned money what would happen if i lost my trading account ? if the loss will put you in troubles, and affect your life and the life of people around you. work with a good strategy like *Blended Model Strategy* and keep moving forward each time when it comes to having a trading plan to take profit from the market daily fortune.

Just go to the used partner store and pick one. I dont recommend you get a brand new one because they lose value as soon as you drive them out of the store.

@FAIZ STONER you may have heard about the positive phycology of tiger woods.... Can you produce the same result wat he is getting from golf only by his mental framework.... It's all about skill and some 1 percent phycology..... You can believe anybody.... But as per me a good system will give you all positive feeling and phycology..... Don't fall in the trap of people selling phycology...... And I also believe no one selling their best trading system, they hide secrets and sell a system which works 65_70 percent of times..... Suppose you and me trading same system , you make 100 dollar I make 20 dollar.... It's not phycology it's shows you follow exit rules, and I exit early with out following rules ...

I always have made extremely good Money but I wanted to get out of that line of work so I began trading. Knowing I always had a big source of income it made me into a reckless trader and blew many accounts. It never bothered me because I knew I would always make that money right back the same day. Anybody else have that problem?
