I have been watching some videos and I was thinking about investing, but still don't know where to start from.
It's strange how people talk about all the profits, they've been making through trading of bitcoin, while am here not making any profit at all. Please can Someone put me through on the right path.

People are scared of investing because of high rate of scam in the business

I think I'm blessed because if not I wouldn't have met someone who is as spectacular as expert Mr scott butler

Good video. Cutting the size of your trade is about being in control. Cut your share size small enough to fit your risk tolerance for losses, but large enough to make a meaningful profit.

Emotions are the worst enemy of people who want to become traders. Some traders try to see trading as a game where they try to beat the market, and then when they start losing, they feel overcome with disappointment.

It's a quite unsafe misconception. There is nothing psychological in trading.
I remember the days when I started trading after feeling inspired by watching The Wolf of Wall Street film.. The first two mistakes are the ones I committed on an almost daily basis.. which eventually made me fall out of love with trading. I see them very clearly now. Thanks.

6:53 I know they are independent events and they dont affect each other, but one event such as flipping 10 heads in a row is less likely than all other events therefor it is more likely to reach a 50/50 than it is to each a 10 heads in a row bcs thats just one outcome out of many others which favors you
the law of large numbers (LLN) is a theorem that describes the result of performing the same experiment a large number of times. According to the law, the average of the results obtained from a large number of trials should be close to the expected value, and will tend to become closer as more trials are performed. More than 50 trials will give you a NON FALLACY.
The Law of Large Numbers is actually one of the first concepts we teach in our Trading Course. You are 100% correct - the more trials you have, the more likely your actual results will mirror the expected probabilities. However, it's important to understand that the actual results don't merge towards the expected probabilities because of some balancing force at work. It merges towards the expected probabilities because there is more data to average into.
But yes, rolling 60% heads and 40% tails is much more likely with only 10 trials than it is with 100 trials. You're right on point.

I was able to fix my FOMO problem by deciding not to trade on a certain day (I chose Monday). For some reason it works.

Jonathan C unfortunately for people to make money, people need to lose money. Until these crytpos become regular ways to make payments, this exchange will be person vs person

I don't recommend traders to enter after the breakout of a range because most breakouts are fake and you can lose lot of money .I personally wait patiently from a pullback to make sure that the market is going to go up or down then i apply the method of the Blended Model to win the market in an hour trade. I had FOMO when GME was at its peak. Luckily I was broke, and saw that the peak ended a few days later. Sometimes being poor is a good thing.
Then unexpectedly on the 25th, I made it all back with the few shares I was able to get, short squeeze or not I love Gamestop, plus they have the former president of NA Nintendo, Reggie, as part of the board of directors. Looking forward to how things develop.
I had FOMO when I started trading. After huge losses I cure myself and for that reason, I missed GME peak. I saw the stock when it was $80 bucks, but I thought it will drop so hard that I didn't buy any, but it went over $400 lol. I don't have any FOMO now bc I just think there are many opportunities out there

Get a good therapist first. It is nothing to do with trading.
I'm new to all this forex trading of thing and i met with this broker (Gregory Olson), he makes me just $1000-$1500 weekly from a 10k investment, i honestly don't feel contented with that..
Profiting from the forex market requires a lot patience, believing in your technical analysis & risk management. That's how it works.
That's the problem with most beginners and that's why a lot of them get defrauded, they seek get rich scheme, trying to use 10k to make 100k in a month. hilarious!
stick to your broker if he's consistent with the 1k weekly or increase your investment, it'll definitely increase your returns.

Don't spend what you're not willing to lose, add money overtime and it might be a good idea to diversify.

I was doing really good, 10% to 20% a day, during two weeks, then when I started losing I was using bigger lot size to make up my losses. Killed my account 50%....
Same here. I was doing good but when things started going bad I just compounded my problems. Now I am almost 40% down and not being able to sleep properly. It is effecting my married life too.

Revenge trading can definitely prove dangerous. I think you've gotta stay in the market for a considerable amount of time to learn to take losses, understand your trading style & risk appetite and keep them emotions under check.
