Traders should never experience a big loss if they want to be profitable. If you can get rid of big losses, you have a great chance of being profitable for years to come.
Big losses happen to traders to show them big lessons. Then when they learn to use their risk plan properly they start to avoid big losses.
The process to become profitable.
Trades should only end in 4 ways: a big profit, a small profit, a small loss or break-even. No big loss.
Only way out is to quantify your risk appetite. That way you can mitigate your losses.
Number 1. Reason for my failure.
Number 2. bailing to early on winners. Number 3. going with what I think should happen, instead of realizing what is happening.

Grid trading manually without paying for a bot with quarterly resistance/support levels and 10-20 grids will ensure you never lose anything in the long run (assuming the “stock market always goes up in the end” mentality lasts into the next century). Tip for everyone:
Use a RR of 1:1 for basic backtesting. If your WR is between 45 and 55%, you REALLY should change your strategy.
