In this week's vlog me and the boys travel to a local mountain range to get some training in for next year's hard enduro season. Stephen flips his 2023 Gas Gas EC300, Cameron roosts the life out of me and we get soggy in a few rivers.

One thing I think about riding dirt bikes, is that it’s similar to learning guitar. When a guys first starts, everything is horrible, but still fun. You don’t know how much there is to know. Next you get some basics down and you go through a period where you learn a lot really fast and rise to a middle level of skill. But then you get to the advanced skills and progress learning them to a high level slows down.
You might feel like you haven’t made progress in a long time, but you are. All the basic and medium skills are getting more second nature at the same time as you’re working on the advanced things. Then one day you can do something really cool that you never imagined you would be able to.
And if you look back at where you are versus when you first threw a leg over a bike or picked up a guitar, it’s quite a huge difference.

Seriously tho, that’s why I started recording my rides, as you really don’t notice the difference from week to week but looking back month to month you realise how much better you are getting!

What mount do you use for go pro mate ??

I use a specific one for my helmet from chinmounts.com/ but also have a Dango Designs clip mount that I used to use which is also very good. Only reason I stopped using it was cos I'd sometimes knock it when it would come off and then the footage would be looking at the wrong place.
