No Russian-doll design approach here - or ‘bricks’; just three SUVs sharing obvious design DNA while also forging their own distinct styling paths.
Bringing these three Volvos together simply reinforces our views from both individual tests and comparisons: this is a formidable line-up with impressive consistency of quality, whether you’re looking at design, materials, safety, or engineering.
Forget Lexus, or even Jaguar. These models prove Volvo is the company most closely challenging - and in some areas beating - the established German premium brands of Audi, BMW and Mercedes. Their SUVs, anyway.

Really great comparison especially in the boot space for which for once we can actually see into rather than a dark space. For me the XC60 is the pick of the range, 5 seats and cleaner rear storage with seats down and all the tech you could really want. Great vehicles.
