I own a mpc2000xl its night and day!Its inspiring as i'm creating a beat on how hard it hits! Mpc-0ne ,liv and x are cool but light!I'm not trying to use 50 plugins to equal the mpc2xl
I have a hardware vocal chain. I tried a test with a wa73 preamp to wa2a compressor. I made my bass mono and put a single cable from the output of my rme babyface(cubase) to the input of these hardware device and the output of these devices back in the input of my rme babyface. Obviously this is mono, but the difference was huge. The mpc plugin bassline sounded digital and weak. After the analog stuff. It sounded more open and alive and more musical and real.
Well done man! I have the same unit and it’s everything you said!! Engage the High gain and adjust your input to compensate for the volume increase, then listen to what the 6 tubes sound like engaged!! 🫡🚀🚀🚀🔥
Oof those live drums with heavy sat sounds beautiful! I personally haven't had any issue with the mpc one's own converters. I have the luxury of a few higher end choices and interfaces but the MPC standalone is perfectly usable (as you have just demonstrated).Great video!
@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE hi, did you ever get around to this? Curious as to how this would work and if its more beneficial then just sending the signal out after tracking (i use the individual outs into converters) from the Daw back out and into daw again. Is there much to be gained tracking with it as a pre vs tracking dry and then having an insert in daw to print the audio back in? Other then avoiding more Da Ad the extra cycle. I have some clean converters so not really worried as much about noise leaving daw and coming back in that is undesirable. It would require tracking 2 inputs at a time rather then the full spectrum to do this for me as I separate all my sounds on the way in and multi track at once. Thanks in advance.
I really liked the + HEAVY Saturation on the Mini D Bassline but that same setting on the live drums it sounded just a little distorted like it was clipping. I run my MPC live Out into a Joe Meek 2 channel Peamp, but this Warm Audio seems to make the tracks sound "Bigger" like a Dirtybird Production ala Clause Vonstroke track. I might have grab one of these from Sweetwater! 👍👍
Currently researching this issue and ran into an issue. I'm not good enough to use and afford analogue gear. Is there a huge sound difference between stock mpc one sound, tascam 16 processed sound, and analogue gear? In other words is it possible to use the tascam 16 as budget analogue gear to a similar effect?
Yes, you could use the Tascam as a great mixer, good thing in the hands on EQing and the effects it has. It will be a lot faster to shape the sound. Is it “better”, that’s subject to debate. It will probably be a lot faster the using the built in effects in the MpC, but results could be achieved with both methods.

Thank you so much for the video ! 👍
Thank you for the support!
always good videos, You should also upload the full listen of Marco Polo's "Bap Essentials" expansion, if you have it available.
I’ll see if I can grab it
@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE Thank you so much
Im definitely going to get 2mpx to warm up the signal from my mpc x
It sounds great!! Thanks for watching

I’ve gotten obsessed with using the oversaturated sound as a layer in most of my instruments, and just blending it in subtlely underneath

Thanks! The 2MPX is now a looped out insert in the MpC. Shooting a how to video on it

Nice! Great solution, rather enhancement to signal.
Indeed it is!
From what I heard from the designer of the 2mpx the high gain activates the 3rd tube not tape sat.

Let me see if I can get you an affiliate link :)
Dope 🔥 Thank you for making the video 🙏
Thanks for the view! More to come
Love the MPX. Cool video ✌🏻
Thanks 👍 loving it!! Another video on the way.
I process on the way in. For mic inputs I have an ART Voice Channel which I'm very pleased with.
Awesome!! heard those are great!
It would be cool if made a video trying to match the WA sound using the MPC FXs?
Difference is night and day
Interesting 🤔🤔👍
You can get some amazing saturation.
Great video, how would you approach recording through this unit into your DAW? Would you have to do one channel at a time?
Since the 2MPX is 2 channel you would just do a stereo out of MPC and back in stereo
