That dude Stew is cookin forreal. I used a tip he shared about adding an LFO to a riser sound and the beat came out so funky I had to post it
Thanks for watching!!
We are spoiled these days. I remember having the MPC2000 and it came with no effects. They released an expansion board that added effects and it was like a whole new world. It wasn't very much but at least you could add some reverb and delay to your samples. 😀
exactly, when you experienced the originals you realize how crazy advanced even basic gear is now.
Yeaaah man!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Can't wait to hear your new music.I've always been a fan :)
👍
Thanks more to come
Nice. Keyboard.
Thanks for supporting
Hi, I'm new with the MPC key 61. I have had it for a week. I'm not very familiar with this system yet and I need to experiment a lot. Is it possible to create a sidechain process inside of it? However, very nice channel and videos. Cheers
Yes, there is a effect called the mother Ducker, that will send and receive a signal and create a sidechain
Great! Thanks
Is there a way to select multiple, audio tracks and copy them from one sequence to another. For example pm for vocal harmonies, being able to select and copy 6 audio tracks and copy that audio fro one sequence to another? So far I’ve couldn’t find a way so I muted al the I trimmers except the vocals and resample that then loading that sample of the vocals on a drum instrument and trigger the sample on other sequences as needed however, it would be nice if we could just copy and paste just like we would in a DAW. So… is there a way?
Let me look into it
Thanks!
So, really you don't have just 4 fx ... say on the drums, each drum pad can have 4 effects, feeding into the drum program that can have four fx, feeding to a send that can have 4 fx, that can then come back on a send (which can have 4 fx?) Have I got that right? LOL... yes ready to pull the plu on the Keys, so trying to learn a bit in advance :) But essentially, the limitation is only down to organising these fx into logical groupings regarding traditional send/return fx and insert type of processes. ?
Exactly! FX on pads for sample sound design. FX on group for mixing/ gluing. You could even then go to a submix to glue with other groups, and then the master FX.
@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE Yea, got the beast and it is gorgeous and so productive with it, even after many many years in a DAW. Once I got into the workflowit was enlightening! And yea, stack those fx :)
How to install expansions on mpc key 61?
Sorry for the delay, did you get it worked out?
