Apparently, Solwolf went through some really bad depression and went MIA on youtube for a while, and I'd believe thats what caused him to delete the videos. His break the meta videos were what got me back into league after a few years break when I was around 14 or 15, which is wild considering I'm nearing my mid twenties now.
Every year or so I check his channel to see if he's back, just out of nostalgia. If you somehow end up reading these comments, Sol, just know you've got a whole community that's willing to take ya back.
I think he wanted to move on to other things, sadly, but whatever is best for him. His videos got me into league too. I remember being so excited to try out the builds

From what i understood he decided to put that whole time behind him and move on, which is sad because I loved the whole breaking the meta idea and those were great videos, but if thats what he needed to do then i can only wish him the best. It's cool to see the lasting impact he's made though with that series, even influencing rav's past....
To anyone having issues with Nunu's large turning circle while in W...try moving the mouse closer to Nunu.
You can pretty much run circles around a turret if you do it correctly. ;)
Isn't the turning radius also based on how much you have turned or am I just misremembering from when he got reworked?

I liked Solwolf's videos a lot they were very interesting, also he was quite the eloquent and funny guy. Shame his videos are gone, just recently i kinda wanted to rewatch a few of them.

I like first strike + biscuits cus going OOM in lane is a bitch and honestly Nunu isn't bad at staying in lane. You just perma push and then repermapush from some random angle and most people don't know what to do and fall behind in CS.

If you really want to master AP Nunu in midlane, I'd suggest darkmane's video on the subject. It may be slightly aged, but it is still a masterclass in all things AP nunu or christmas joy.
No Rav, you're right. Solwolf's vids have been deleted. He said he'd keep them in a playlist so they'd still be available but I believe some youtube shenanigans happened cuz they aint in there anymore either. Solwolf aka Chris, no longer makes (league) videos for a lot of the same reasons many others stopped making league vids but it seems he also quit youtube as a whole (or is currently not making videos untill a later date as was his original statement). As one of his (past) friends who has featured in some of his videos I just wanted to give a little additional info in that most of what made him quit league/youtube is a problem that MANY youtubers but more specifically LEAGUE youtubers faced. Complete and utter burnout on league plus an audience that didnt want to view anything but league videos.
In an environment that was as toxic as league can be, Solwolf stopped being able to feel any enthusiasm for doing what he once loved and since quit. Coincidentally I was going to try and be a (league) youtuber way back then too, sorta piggy-backing off Solwolf but when I realized what pressure to perform there was and how I was already seen as a videogamedunkey clone due to my behaviourisms on Solwolf's channel and how extremely toxic an audience for league/youtube/furries could be, I decided I didnt have the mental fortitude (at the time) to expose myself to all that crap.
Solwolf did have a bunch of name changes in league during his youtube carreer, but you're correct on the channel.

My university's team actually has a strategy built around Nunu mid. Our mid doesn't play any Nunu in solo queue, and our jungler puts games into it for the sole reason of making the enemy think it's going jungle. We'll lock Nunu + Morgana (I'm our support) and if we get that locked the game's over. This basically guarantees us at least one win in our best of 3, but if you win one it gets banned out round one, still great to have in the pocket though!

If you guys havent tried it i highly recommend ekko support and sitting in lane bush and pressing w where they are standing, ive won probably 16-20 games playing it (i did not just first time ekko ive played him for 3 seasons) trust me. It works and they never expect for it to work
Play your favorite bruiser or caster as a support and you're in for a good time. Did Azir, Elise and Ekko and they all work really well provided you already know their kit

I loved breaking the meta, and Solwolf. All his videos are unlisted and found in his playlist.
I actually quit the game was because Riot just made it harder and harder to break the meta, by removing runes and masteries.
My favorite meta break was rammis top, rushing Zzrot's Portal. Ignite and teleport. Massive map presence, tower destroyer. Would drop Zzrot's Portal near top sude tower, go get dragon or gank mid and bot.
I miss Chris (Solwolf). I hope he's doing well. His Undertale playthrough was so good.
