no its not people lose interest when pros alternate between 25 champs so in order to make a champ proplay viable they have to overbuff some champs. Like i can tell you aatrox wont be nerfed until worlds is over. Because aatrox hasnt been seen in pro play in a long time.

Why is that evil. Making worlds more interesting is a win for everyone. Riot makes more money, the proplayers have more fun with the meta and the viewers get to see better matches. Sadly they forgot to remove yuumi

Current meta is horrible for esport. The full champion pool consists of like 4 adcs, 5 junglers and 4 toplaners.

Riot clearly only cares about win rates in Master and higher. They kept nerfing A Sol because he had a 55+% WR in Challenger. They didn't care that he had a 40% WR in Gold.
I believe that it is because they get slapped by certain champs that they can not play, then rage-nerf them, just because they can.

Champion can be obnoxious in lower ranks but average when people know what they are doing and I believe that doesn't mean that particular champion is broken, but that he is desing in a way makes him better at exploiting mistakes. Take Fizz, Master Yi, Darius etc. Those champions don't need to be nerfed just because players below gold make to many mistakes to beat them. It's part of the game to learn how to play.

In case it wasn’t already obvious that riot plays favourites, ignores player feedback, and balances the game according to a combination of their own arbitrary preference and whichever character has a skin coming out, it’s pretty hard to deny it now.
I mean, it's a game that is offered completely for free, so obviously they need to be looking for ways to make money. If Lux skins make 10x the revenue that every other champion makes, then they will buff Lux and keep releasing more skins for her. Unless you want them to make League into a monthly subscription game (which to me sounds like a great idea).
But apart from that, Riot makes changes to keep the game fresh for pro play especially. It's not that they do not know how to balance the game (except for certain missteps that have happened). If they went close to perfect balance for the game, they would do that, but obviously, they don't want perfect balance. They want a selection of 20-30 champions to be the optimal choice every single time, with that selection changing every year and even multiple times during a year to keep the pro play fresh. If the game was very close to balanced and Riot never made any changes to it, it would grow old and boring really quickly, and even then, for pro play, there would still be those 20-30 picks that are optimal.
Riot knows exactly what they are doing. Most of their balance changes are specifically designed to change the meta in a way that Riot wants so that it keeps viewers engaged with different picks. This year, the selection of 30 champions changed 3 times, in spring, summer and worlds. 2023, it will change again. They know how to tweak just a small amount of champions over multiple patches to trigger big meta shifts. And they know it really well and it's been so successful so far. Little shifs like buffinf or nerfing 3-4 champions or introducing a new item,or changing one rune could mean that the meta shifts from bot-centric to jungle-centric, or from early snowball to mid-late game teamfighting. Riot knows this and they are doing it perfectly and people are missing the point. It's not just skin sales. It's pro-play targeted for a big part as well.
There have been multiple skin releases that have not made any changes to the champion itself. Sometimes, the champion and the skin released are the same in some patches. It's just law of probability. There have been patches where a skin is released for X champion and in the same patch, that X champion is nerfed. It's just conspiracy theory from most people who fail to see the real point behind their balance changes.
There has been an AP MF in every other norms game since this patch (some of them have been me). I loved AP MF before this as a mage player, but it honestly was not necessary to buff absolutely everything when Lethality MF was still pretty popular.
I love playing AP MF on mid.
I'd hardly call a 40% cooldown increase on her E along with a base damage reduction in exchange for 0,2 AP ratio increase a buff overall.
Playing AP MF is hard inting. Literally removing 70% of your kit so you can press e and giggle to yourself that it did a bit of damage which will be completely inconsequential because you have no way to follow up on it while you stick your finger up your ass and wait until you can do it again then lose and scream at your team for being bad while exclaiming how good you are because you padded a lot of overall damage that contributed nothing to the game. I'd rather have a Yuumi solo lane than have an AP MF in my game.

I legitimately had one of those second MF games myself a week or two back. our team picked all AD (except my support who was a tank) and the enemy team had a rammus.
so I was like "well I was gonna AD MF but guess I gotta go AP now" so I did. entire game people were complaining about how I didnt do damage, and should swap, etc. even after I mentioned we needed SOME ap.
meanwhile, post-game lobby, checked the damage charts...I was top by far on our team. HMMMMMM wonder why.
Wanna know why? Because you built liandrys thats why. Any champ that build liandrys or demonic tops the damage charts by default if the game goes on long enough. It does not equate to how much you actually contributed to how much •impact• you actually had you just spammed E all game nothing special at all.

Cant do anything other then poke you a tiny bit then precede to get oneshot by everything and anything. Miss fortune adc however is so f'ing good that it boggles my mind why some retards think they should rather troll pick her midlane or support because she has 1 ability that scale a little with ap. Its called ADcarry for a reason if a apcarry is needed than ffs pick seraphine or brand which has abilities that ALL scale with ap and stop trollpicking random bs. At 4 am last night, I played MF for the second time ever in an ARAM game. It went on for 40 minutes, and I was able to change my build 3 different times. Went 36/7/33 with 140k damage. She’s already stupid strong if I can do that

I mean, I've been quite happy with the changes, They removed comet E max support Miss Fortune. And that shit was absolute cancer. They basically gutted her E via cooldown increase the change to the slow is meh because its worse late especially since she won't be building AP anymore. And its worse early because you only get the ability every half decade now. Now we just need to gut Support Comet Ashe.
On PBE, they made her ulti scale with 30% crit up from 20%. They didn’t go through with that buff, but imagine?

Honestly at around gold/plat she's either ban or pick at this point. The Q buff was needed but she's gonna be nerfed to the ground within 2 patches. Her WR today was something around 54% and rising with over 30% popularity.

I like playing jungler for custom games filled with bots, it's nice to see your team hard carry after you get them ahead instead of them inting their brains out and then blaming you for their failures. Bots are better teammates than the majority of the player base.
It's painful when your main is strong and other people pick/ban it so you have to actually play other champions

I just hope that Riot don't rework MF into a number crunching right click bot that auto-win the game next to a Lulu instead because Riot's been showing a tendency to give lane bullies reworks that remove their ability to bully in lane and make them scaling champions instead. Janna, Swain and Taliyah already suffered this fate and Syndra seems to be the next in line.

I don't think it'll be gone anytime. Eclipse is just a very good item for her, plus since Q crits automatically on bounce if the first target is killed, lethality is still here. You just don't max E anymore and actually need to play to poke with Q, and maybe change runes from comet to pta or first strike I guess.

It's a fucking horrible build. Only Draven should ever build Eclipse and only with also building crit. Lethality adcs is just such a bad idea.
