This is the busiest airport in the world and they didn’t have ANY security that could tackle her???
The first security guard was obviously on his lunch break cuz he didn't bother to put down his sandwich down lol

They don’t just have a cop sitting at every single gate all the time waiting for something to happen. It was about two minutes before they had her on the ground. They wouldn’t be aware of an altercation at the exact second it started. So realistically they were there less than a minute after someone called or radioed to alert them, and their sight was impeded on top of that. (I’m not a defender of LE by any means, but realistically I don’t see this is a failure on their part.)
@Tina J no, but that concourse is next to homeland border protection, and they are on a different level. So when they come, they drive over, or they run. The cops are usually there at all times they usually sit outside. Plus, he took her straight to the jail on site. That's why he had taken her out down the jetbridge. You gotta have clearance to drive near the planes. Otherwise, you'll get sucked into the engine. There's a lot that goes on and they do have the police there it's all about safety.

This is how things can go south very quickly. Imagine a real terrorist creating a smoke screen and than blasting people away, what's worse is you have at least 10 to 25 people around her doing absolutely nothing!

There is a cloud of crap in the air. Security cameras are blinded. Bystanders are in shock and bewilderment as to what they are seeing unfold. In the heat of the moment you could Lawrence Taylor Linebacker tackle her, separate her from the extinguisher, others are sure to join in and help hold her down, then you slip out the back in the midst of the pandemonium, you were never there.
Go to the bathroom with your suitcase, close yourself in a stall, open the suitcase, change your clothes, leave the bathroom and blend back into the crowd, and still make your flight.

This is a good example of why police SHOULD be able to beat up suspects, at least a little bit say 30 seconds or so. Obviously this person is way too stupid to learn anything in life without getting smacked around a little bit.

Just flew through this Atlanta airport , lots of employees standing around chatting with each other , we asked for directions TSA staff seemed bothered that we were speaking to them TSA very rude, lots of yelling from TSA staff

Anybody that was flown in the airport specially lately knows how aggravating they can be like leaving you sit on the tarmac for 3 hours for no reason I never seen such lazy people in my entire life airports suck

How was she able to get her hands on a fire extinguisher? Shouldn’t they be secured behind the employee counter? I wouldn’t want to breathe the gas that comes out of that canister. Who knows what kinds of chemicals it contains!
Fire extinguishers, being emergency equipment, by law cannot be locked away. They are usually in glass-faced cabinets with a light plastic lock-tag that can easily be removed. If it's any consolation, that moron probably got charged on the federal level for attacking people with a "dangerous chemical substance." And that most likely means mandated time in a federal prison. Yeah, even if she pleaded insanity, she will spend a goodly amount of time behind bars.

It's not just dry soda and it can be harmful if you breathe it in. Powder extinguishers are some of the worst ones because of the crap that can get in your lungs (which need to be moist). Soda or not, you don't want to breathe this crap in.
