Best player playing in SA far beter then buthelesi
I feel like Hannekom and Louw will be brought into the squad together for the rugby Championships.
Still frustrating to see him miss out right now.

Everyone has their favorites yet in the end it is still up to Rassie who he feels is best and if people dont have faith in his decision making by now then they never will be. There are still alot of games to come so even if they not picked now does not mean they wont get their chance in the future. Remember what Rassie moto is NOT WHO IS THE BEST PLAYER BUT WHO IS THE RIGHT PLAYER
Regrettably, I dont think Tyrone Green is on the Springbok radar: Willemse, Le Roux, Fassi, Horn, Mngomezulu-Feinberg, etc
Nortje - so sad that such a good player is up against such a great pool of locks; will eventually get an opportunity; maturing well
Hanekom - his time will come; another season or two and he will be awesome
Augustus - tough one, he is a really good player and I rate him; been awesome for Saints, agree that he would have a higher profile at home; agree replace Phepsi for him
Ruben Van Heerden should also be given a chance. He was the leading tackler in the URC.
I hope Wilco will get a chance at some stage. He has been fantastic for the Bulls and the best SA thighthead in the URC. Thomas Du Toit is a loosehead.
This Squad is truly quality though😅and let's hope the players have a chance in future 😅
The Squad Depth is insane. What a job SA Rugby have done to continue the development of players in grassroots level.

I watch alots of the top 14 I haven't seen Trevor have a good game for Racing 92 this season wilco Louw deserves to be in the squad based on form alone

For the next two and half years I predict many more "shock calls" with players floating in and out the squad.
Rassie clearly likes to slowly bring people in, looks for the best fit and not the best player, builds specific combinations and strategies. A lot of these players not in right now, will likely get exposure in the 2 year window. His goal right now is to mix young blood with the experienced guys. And establish which players are primed for 2027 (and 2031).
After 2 years of rebuilding the available player's, he'll likely step back into his director role and appoint a dedicated coach for the WC. All going well we a get a hatrick 🤞
I imagine that after this series you will start to see the new guard slowly trickle in, I am hoping this is the case because I would like to win more games between world cups but we also need the new players coming through.

We know for sure that England are already talking to him about playing for them as soon as he qualifies. Maybe he's decided to go that route already?

SA 1st 15 always include psdt and kolisie, both number 7th. That's problem number 1. Second one, SA only score when they bypass De Allen da in the movement. Only save the game when kwagga and or escom came on. Same with locks.
Please ask him about TG...I don't question the Dr. but just want to know his thinking behind it

The final killed many bulls. Also like David Kriel but his defence let him down. We need a creative 12 also a proper 6. Don't rate Dr Rassies team as excellent. Ireland got better centre's and loose trio, even 15. According to teams picked by Australia and all Blacks, SA with their same players will struggle. We really need solid locks, RG is ok, but the others is average. Hope I am wrong.
Johan Goosen is also unlucky
Unlike the other unlucky nominated at least Wilco Louw has already had his chance as a Bok. I would have included Elrigh Louw in this list and unpopular as it may sound Johan Goosen - the forgotten man of SA rugby.
As mentioned in this video it is noticeable is that those playing overseas (unless an absolute champion e.g. Duane Vermuelen) are being overlooked for those that are SA based. Australia has gone down the same path.
Nobody is ever unlucky to make a Bok squad. Some players are definitely unlucky NOT to make it though.

Guys I don't know I see it far better than it ever has been. That everyone in the squad is on merit and it's an exciting time. But I think it's disingenous to say 'unlucky' to not be included. Green has been on the radar awhile. Elrigh, Wilco Louw all of them for many years. I mean the angry warthog was knocking for selection as far back as before 2019 WC when we were choosing the Stormers bench hooker Ntubeni. Who wasn't picked for the WC in the end. For Dweba who's not in this squad. In reality these are all fringe players and only so many places in the squad. It does seem disingenous though when you compare the above to people's disappointment to Masuku after 1 season and regular season barely making top 8, and Nohamba with the lower table Lion's. We even picked Hendrikse over the Bulls year in year out performing flyhalf. Granted they all have skills and Rassie knows best how to deal with this. But to say it's unlucky. Negates the necessity put forth by government for it to be a progressively less diverse team.

Elrich louw is good, but he is another number 7. We are thin at number 6,only kwagga and Pepsi. Maybe Roos but they are not specialist. They all cover 6,7 and 8, but a 8 in the mood of Jannie breedt and Morney Dup are excluded. Who is that person?. none other Than Frankie Horn.
But why did he try out Dixon who do you rate better do you think Louw has age against him or?
