Yeah, people's comparisons take away from the beauty of the NBA story. Wilt vs Bill, Magic vs Bird, Jordan vs the world, Kobe vs his idols, Lebron vs time. Not a perfect recap but each one built off of what the previous did. Kobe's my favorite player ever but I always loved that he both strived to be better than Jordan but also knew that he was honoring Jordan's greatness by doing that.
