I just did a shoot with my Manfrotto tripod. The wind blew it over when I went to show the CEO video from my other camera. Came back and the Manfrotto was broken as well as my A7S3 scuffed up with my Tamron 28-75 cracked. It had made me rethink lighter tripods.

One day I will break down and buy one of the Chinese peak design ripoff tripods but for now my 10 buck light stands still serve me well. If everyone rips of the peak design tripod is it a ripoff anymore? Half the price makes them very attractive.

They actually don't even rip off the peak design. They are actually very different. Similarities are in the overall size... But that is about it
