  • Perfect new tripod for videographers and content creators.
Get the FreeBlazer CT-195 on Amazon - amzn.to/3QYlVs4
The Smallrig FreeBlazer CT-195 is a compact and super light weight video tripod for people need a tripod (or monopod) but also want's to travel light and be able to move around more freely. The switch on the video head lets you alternate between horizontal and vertical video.
Fully extended the CT-195 reaches 77.8"/185cm above the ground. That should be tall enough for stand up interviews and getting creative angles. At the same time it collapses down to a tiny little 18"/46cm which fits in the side pocket of your camera bag.
This product was sent to me by Smallrig. They did not write the script or have any other type of input on the production of this video. It's just a great little tripod.

Nice feature. Easier then using my L-bracket and have to switch between the sides 👍

      So true!
I've always dreaded when it's time to get vertical shots. There will definitely be more of those coming up now 🤩

I love your color grading colors, do you have any Luts available?

      Thanks!
No released LUT's but there probably will be in a near future. I have a few that I need to finalize and do the whole package with.

hey thomas which cage would you recommend for a minimal rig ,i use a metabone adapter so is there a cage that is uitable for the fx30?

Hi! I'm using the 4130 from smallrig and the included (with the cage) nato rail for my monitor if I'm not using the XLR handle. I know some cages from other manufacturers have made it difficult to use adapters. I've not tried the metabones on my rig, but I am using the MC-11 adapter without any hiccups.
I have a video on my FX30 rig that you could check out for inspo. All put together with QR parts to fit the rig in a regular camera bag.

El tripode viene con el Arc quick release? o hay que comprar uno aparte? Porque revisando en Amazon, en las imagenes sale que viene con el Arc quick release pero en las especificaciones del producto no dice nada

How sturdy is it when fully extended?

    • @ThomasFransson
      @ThomasFransson  Před 18 dny +1

It's a travel tripod so it's not as sturdy as a heavy duty tripod.
That said, once you have it set up and locked in place it's quite sturdy and I trust it with my built out FX30 rig with V-mount and 800g+ lenses. The more weight you put on it the sturdier it gets in my experience. And there's a hook at the bottom of the center column where you can hang a bag or extra weight if you want to keep it nailed down to the ground if you're using a super light weight camera.

is the fluid head detachable by any chance?

    • @ThomasFransson

Yes, you can unscrew it and use whatever head you'd like that has threads on it.
