Battery life - 02:10 As with all battery powered tube lights they have to be charged, haven't found a way around that yet ;)

That's odd, I've used the app on at least 3 smartphones and two tablets and it's always swift. Maybe some type of permission that's missing like location? That needs to be on when pairing pretty much every light.

Hi Vincent! I could probably make a more contrasty version. Have you made any adjustments to the contrast settings on the profile in camera?

@@ThomasFransson Yes I have tried playing around with the in camera settings, especially contrast but it doesn't seem to make the blacks very deep and sharp. If you could make a more contrasty version that would be absolutely perfect! I love your presets so much! Thank you!

I don't think I've gotten any confirmations from G5X mkII users. If it's a model released after 2015 it should work, as long as there's custom slots available on the camera. Also, I believe for the G series cameras one uses a software other than EOS Utility called Picture Style registration tool. Let me know if it works so I can add it to the list

Try another version of eos utility or picture style loader if you’re using a g series camera. Also try another cable if possible.

The image style editor has been deactivated on this file subsequent modification"

I just got my R50 couple of days ago and 3 of my presets are his work( crowdak, pro neigh hi, and now astia vintage). Once in a while I put in his filmic monochrome :)

Filming base is my main Jpg style on my m6ii and M. What a style! Especially fun to use with disposable bodycap lens.

Oh that sounds like a lot of fun, heard abiut those lenses! You'll probably dig the vintage Astia in this pack

Hi Tim. Did you do a calibration run? It seems to me there's no travel lengh data stored, the slider will find the end positions during the calibration run. If I skip the calibration run the slider will try to keep moving even when there's no more track. Hopefully this will take care of the issue.

@@ThomasFransson Yeah…it’s the first thing I did. It runs to the far left, gets to the end, and then starts squealing and the belt start vibrating. It does that for about 30 seconds or so, and then move to the other end and does the same thing.

Interesting, mine behaves the exact same during calibration, but only for 1-2 seconds at each end point when running calibration. Do you run the calibration with camera on and do you use a video head to get the camera up above the battery and control plate when doing this. Depending on the orientation of your camera it may bump in to the controls or battery before the slider can reach the end point. Also, does it run properly when you use the a and b points?

@@ThomasFransson Interesting. I’m running the calibration with nothing on it…literally out of the box. The first couple of times the calibration took about a minute, and the A / B points worked fine. Just tried again and the calibration, along with the squealing and vibrating, continues indefinitely. So, I’m going to assume it’s a defective unit and return it for a new one. I hope it was just a fluke. On a separate note, I wish it would keep the A/B points in the memory after turning it off…but that’s a separate issue. I appreciate your help!

Yes, might be a faulty unit then, reach out to accsoon before you send it in, can't remember if there's a firmware update available for the S60, but if, that might fix the problem too. If they have a newer firmware they'll probably send it to you even if it's not yet up on their site. I guess it would be convenient to be able to store the A-B points if you're always using the slider the same exact setup as a fixed installation. Perhaps that's something that could be added to the App if there's enough people who ask for this feature. Always a great idea to reach out to the manufacturers with suggestions and ideas on how they can make the product even more attractive. Good luck Tim, I'm sorry about the issue, I hope you get it sorted as soon as possible.

It uses smart media cards. They can be found on ebay and perhaps in second hand electronic stores. Don't forget to get a card reader too. Good luck

First of, that's awesome! This is such a fun camera to shoot with. About the battery/charger. It sounds like the battery might be dead. It could also be the charger. After three hours it should be at least 60-70% charged if not 100% Good news is that new batteries and chargers are quite easy to come across and they won't cost you much. I can't remember the exact battery type, but Google the camera model + battery and you should find the info needed to buy a replacement/third-party battery.

If you’re using any luts in camera or in post you could use the same Lut on the monitor. If you're not using any luts then you can leave LUTS off

I would say they're built for different purposes and use cases. The B series will run more quiet especially if and when you're in need of more power and also want the option of recording audio.
