The East End Lagoon Preserve is my favorite off-the-beaten path fishing spot. Let me show you where it is and along the way I will share secrets about Galveston fishing.
Thanks for this video, you gave more info than anyone that does videos In Galveston fishing arena. Keep informing us where and when to fish. I am retired and love to fish but don’t know where to fish the good spots from the banks. Thanks for your helpful video!!👍👍👍👍👍💥💥
Dude, this is great video. My 11 year old is a fishing fanatic and this is a great place to fish when I take him to Galveston and try out saltwater fishing. Thanks
I never understood why anglers in Galveston always rave about blue/green/clear water… in the many times I’ve gone to the surf with beautiful water perfect conditions and there’s not a predator in sight I’ll hop around different groins try different rigs and just end up going to the bay and actually land some fish. I’ve landed more fish on the surf when it’s brown and rough
Just scouting the locations for now and letting you know when the best times to fish. I will do follow up video showing what is caught, when and what bait to use. BTW, legal but smaller specks and flounder being caught in April. Thx for watching
Hi Galveston 409 can you help me I went fishing down there the other day and I went to ferry boat first and then I wanted to go to the wall you show on your video how do you get in there and where can you park I seen your video and it looks so different when you get down there lol .I got bait a smillys and the shrimp where so big .
I ended up going to SeaWolf Park and did really good but I wanted to fish the pipe please bad but could figure out where to park and get in there was gate and it was closed there .any help please thank you and good fishing to you .
Free line. Maybe one crimp weight. I will toss into an eddy on the left, just at the edge of the outgoing current. I cast up high, so that there's a lot of line slack when the bait hits the water. Then I just lit it drift. Bait - Everything hits on shrimp, so I usually use live mullet. This place and the lagoon are great spots to use a cast net.
The weather, temp and wind direction and speed are going to be bad for the next few days. You may be out of luck. I'm going out early tomorrow to check the lagoon and seawolf park. But I think the front is coming in at 5am.
@@galveston4095 Was you at seawolf 5 days ago (friday)? I was there the day before and it was a nightmare. It was so windy and what not. Fish were probably hiding in the deepest water jerking off or something. Them nggas would not bite anything.
Go to sea wolf park get sum shrimp or DOA or voodoo catch speckel trout good I just got back from there .fish by the channel side you will do really good promise good luck and good fishing they charge 10 for car and 5 a person to fish there .
Regardless of when you fish the Pass, be extremely careful of the current & depths, especially wade fishing…this place claims far too many lives from those who misjudge the drop offs & shoaling…🙏🏽🙏🏽
It just depends, I just came from there tonite! San Luis pass is my go to spot.. Reds! Drum! Hard head! black tip! Speckle trout! And even a alligator gar!! Today was one of the best days
Like ur video. U r correct, there are no secret spots in Galveston (thanks to utubers). But there are a lot of unknown spots. I've fished the East end down to the West end......and further. However,u failed to mention several things about that spot. It's very dangerous due to the big rocks there. Especially when wet. And not everyone can traverse those rocks. How about showing a spot that's more safer....since that's what ur vid is stressing. Safety.🛟🤙🎣
Amazing video. Super informative without being flashy!
Thanks for a Great tip. Tight Lines . Friend 👍
Good information, safety precautions and locations 👍

Same lol
Bayou Bait has been my go to, I’ll have to check this spot out, thanks!
There's another place but it's off limits
@@galveston4095 Tell me where it is and I will go. No bull. I'm serious. F ck the law.
A Margie's is always cheaper than bayou.
@@galveston4095 If it's off limits, WHY even mention it?🤨😖
@@queenwaters5827 Not strictly "off limits." UTMB and TAMUG have spots that are "plus one" type of spots.
great video , would have liked to see what is caught there

Thanks for the video. Do you fish that spot with live shrimp, popping cork, free line, bottom fish, lures or what, please. Thanks

Hey, I’m in Galveston right now. Weather is bad a little windy and lots of man o wars. I’m looking to fish though. Any baits or spots you recommend.

Also they are tearing them up at Texas City dike all 3 slam
would you recommend San Luis pass for fishing in march?
No, I wouldn't. The Pass is a late summer and early fall place to fish. And, only from the shoreline. It's dangerous to get in the water.

What is the website you use for the tide chart please?

Hi Iove the video my next fishing spa gonna be there , can you tell me the name of you camera and model I love wat she do ,please !!
Is there any way to contact you for guidance on fishing these areas,
Dm me on fb, this is galveston
not much fish in that lagoon... just dinks.
Fish the outgoing tide on the channel side. In the Eddyies to the left. I guarantee you'll catch fish.
Why would you take 61st to Seawall??? That's way out of the way to your fishing hole! And you know it!! ...get to the point...get fishing 🎣
So, I could talk. Plus, I may give away a fishing spot but I will NEVER give away a secret shortcut.

It's such a beautiful spot. And, if you fish the channel side facing the jetty, it is safe and a good flounder spot. But, working on vids right now.
