THE SECRET BEHIND CLIFF ISLAND, MAINE

After 10,218 km in a kayak, I found myself paddling towards an unknown island, that is, unknown to me. I saw a few cabins and as I paddled further, a lobster boat and fishermen on a wharf caught my attention. I paddled up, got out of my kayak and initiated a conversation......after a day, the hidden secret of Cliff Island began to unfold...one of the many delights in this epic, solo journey in a kayak

I have been working on cliff island during the end of winter and the past 5 weeks solid...just before all of the summer people hit. it is an awesome island but the people make it better.
