I still have not purchased ASE's since 2021! For me, just too many other things to stack. The deal you got sounds good, can't believe they beat Monument! Looks like very specific labeling to me on the tube.
I always feel like I need to stack a few ASEs every once in a while. Dont know why.

I have a Dansco with every year of the silver eagle except for the 2024 one. I love the design although I prefer the type 1 to the type 2. Thanks for sharing.
I like the Heraldic Eagle better than the clipped wing "bowing Eagle" better also.

I should add I got a tube of 24 eagles from SD Bullion and it had the same silver tape seal, however the Costco eagles have the extra graphics which nobody else does that I know of

If you need extra money tomorrow my LCS will buy those and pay you as much as $1 over spot. What a store of wealth and a hedge against inflation those are. A year ago those woulda cost $750, next year they'll only cost $300 all while everything is life has doubled in the last year.

It is interesting. If you are one of their premium members, and have a rewards card, you can get it really close to spot price which is very unusual for silver eagles

I buy 2 mint sealed monster boxes every year. I own 70,000 troy ozs of ASE'S in bullion strike. I also have 4 all inclusive sets of slabbed and certified eagles..123 individual eagles to each set from 1986-2024. All.grades dates some years have up to 7 different types of eagles. I am fortunate I won the lottery and have to get rid of the fiat or paper currency. I also have a lot of gold sovereigns and silver sovereigns bullion and buckets filled with constitutional coins.

Yes this is hte new US Mint packaging! I like it, and I also just got 1 20 2024 ASE from Costco and placed a second order a few hours later and showed in stock and 2 hours later got order cancelled, very poor inventory control. What's the point when it shows in stock and it's not!! FYI limit 2 orders per account.

What's going on with the bottom of the box/sleeve? The American Eagle box looks like it might open from the bottom. Both boxes have some sort of symbol(s) on the bottoms.
Its the Recycled plastic symbol.

I think it’s a good thing for Costco to be selling bullion. It should also create awareness that the big companies are realizing that there is a stacker movement and they want a piece of it

Remember, these things are coming from a high volume retail dealer. They likely want to know if someone has opened and removed any of the coins. Either at the warehouse or after they were shipped. That is a shrink (theft) prevention method.

@joshberman9318 just go to the jewelry counter and fill out a form of what you want, then bring it to the counter where they renew memberships and they will take it from there.

I did just see 2024 ASE at antiques shop yesterday. Sealed in the tubes they do look like that now. You got a really good deal on that silver cause the dealer I went to yesterday has them at $360 for the 20 ct 1oz coins.

@@sheldonhall4572 You can easily make $100 if you ran back there and bought them and took them to a pawn shop. If they're selling them for that price, then they absolutely do not know what they have. I would go get them if I was you. If they're in Michigan I would drive anywhere to go get those
@@WorldMoneyWins I will be making a trip back to that store to have some of my coins appraised with their numismatics expert, I will definitely double check the price on that tube of silver eagles. I will be having them do some silver tests for me before I consider buying them. Apparently, there are counterfit 2023's floating around, always safe to assume there are fake 2024 coins made already too. Not saying the coin shop would intentionally screw me but rather the shop getting screwed by the supplier they order from.
@@sheldonhall4572 Good plan. I think the majority of the time dealers receive fakes is probably from people coming in and selling.
The only bad thing about Costco is only being a seller and not a buyer, you have to watch the balance of how things work and Costco just pumping into the market is not good, which helps drive the price down on Silver for just the buyers and not good for sellers.
They can only drive it down so far, and I dont sell back to dealers. You cant reclaim premiums if you sell to dealers. I probably would sell 1oz gold to dealers, or maybe do a trade if the silvber goes super-high demand like it did in 2010. Dealers sometimes would trade with ZERO premium because the demand was so high.
@@WorldMoneyWins we don't need Costco putting your LCS out of business if Costco just wants to sell, and is not a buyer of Silver or Gold when someone needs to sell a little from there stack.
Costco is not good for the bussiness and should have there products marked as where it came from as to avoid trades with.
I like Monument Metals and have purchased from them however they HAVE NOT been the cheapest recently on things I shop for.
It's weird how it changes over time. I remember when SD bullion used to be the cheapest. JM was the cheapest before that.

I bought PAMP Gold from costco and it comes in shrink wrap box i am guessing for security purposes. Remember these are normal employees that aren’t used to handling precious metals so I think they take the extra step to ensure quality.
I got one of the 1oz gold Rand bars from Costco and it was just in a GIGANTIC loose bubbler mailer. I was shocked that it made it LOL

They are very hard to find in stock. They sell out right away
Check their website early each morning. Early bird gets the worm! Do a variety of searches because the products change frequently. I've found silver eagles, gold eagles, and silver maples for sale at different times over the past few weeks.

For some reason, I trust Costco more than online bullion dealers. Although, I've never used either. I just go to my LCS.

That's $4.49 over spot. I guess that's not bad for silver eagles. I always purchase 1 oz., 10 oz., kilo and 100 oz. bars. I don't have any silver eagles but did have a bunch of gold eagles. I decided to trade all my gold for silver in March 2020 on the day that silver dipped to about $10 per ounce. I had been collecting the gold eagles since 1993. I put aside at least 20% of my pay check for mostly gold and the change left over went into silver but never paid more than $14.50 an ounce for silver till 2021.
