Hello Friends!
Here’s a bit of a long, blah blah vlog…I've included little updates, some random storytelling, and just a bit of chit-chat. I truly enjoy sitting down with a cup of tea and talking to you! (Still can't find that other cup I set down somewhere!)

I have resorted to panic searching for your channel every time i have an anxiety attack at home, when all else fails.
Some how you always calm me down enough to be able to breathe deeply again. I wish I knew a way to prevent this.. But I feel really thankful for you and your channel in the meantime.
My darling Kandi - I'm just coming up for the first time since I came down with the dang virus. Your words have truly moved me, dear girl. I'm glad you have a go-to thing that helps. I want you to tell yourself that with each anxiety attack, you are handling it better and better and and getting more and more control over it. That may "feel" like a lie, but keep saying that. Your brain WILL begin to believe what it is told!
Know that I am sending you a big, tender hug. I believe in you and I appreciate your authenticity. You are going through and learning things that will enable YOU to help others! I just know it.

For years I used to have severe daily panic and anxiety attacks. I overcame them by realizing its just uncomfortable and not dangerous. It’s just uncomfortable sensations and let myself sit with it and let it roll around inside of me till it goes away.I will tell myself it’s time to reel it back in and remind myself this has happened a thousand times and it always passes . It takes quit a bit of doing this till one day, you can stop it before it gets going. Good luck and I hope this advice helps.

As a Brit, I have found these past few days quite strange because I'm not a royalist by nature. However, I had a particular admiration and soft spot for her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Anyhow, I wanted to thank you sincerely for your heartfelt remarks regarding our late queen. It is a sad period for a lot of people and no matter what one thinks of royalty and the British monarchy, I think a small slice of respect for the late queen and her grieving family is in order. However, that's just my opinion. Anyway, thank you and God bless you. P.S-I drank the tea. Oops! Sorry...(It was rather sweet, like your good self) 😊

I have become more of a "royalist" in the past decade, (despite some of the drama, which every family has!) I started looking past the glitz and glamor and saw how much service goes into what they all do...how their lives are truly about service.

Just wanted to pop on here to say I agree 100%. Plus as a member of nation who doesnt have monarchy I can't to begin to understand what it does or doesnt mean for people who do. So I wouldnt dream to tell anyone how they should or shouldnt feel.
Being nice to certain people is inherently cruel to others.
All I'm going to say is "Yes, ma'am!" But seriously thank you for saying that because your channel and You have become a safe place for myself and so many and I would hate to see that ruined or in any way muddied because of a difference of opinion. I really wish people would learn to voice their opinion respectfully but also be willing to listen to somebody else. I'm 34 years old and I just don't understand what is going on in the world today. thank you for this, Jeannie. I was one of the people who was disappointed about the monarchy-related post, and felt uncomfortable and disappointed because I felt that my opinions (which are decidedly not royalist, because of my own background and family history) were not welcome here. I was really sad, because I found this channel a little while ago and I immediately felt so soothed and nurtured. I've been going through a tough time and your videos have really helped me. It was jarring to see that someone I so admired felt so differently about something important to me. But I'm quite young, not yet 30, and I have a lot to learn about tolerance and patience. It brought tears to my eyes to hear you say all are welcome here and that this is a safe space, because I was feeling as if I couldn't belong here because of who I am and the identities I hold. It is important to me to spread joy and positivity, but I have to juggle that alongside my own traumas and pain, and that can be a difficult thing to do. Thank you for being compassionate and accepting, and for not rejecting me.
Honey - we go through so many versions of ourselves in our short lifetime. You aren’t at 30 what you were at 15. And you won’t be at 45, what you were at 30. We evolve, change, grow, shrink, and swing in lots of different directions within our lives.
You are welcome here - royalist or not. I just don’t want debate and heaviness. There’s enough of that out there. This is just a welcome place for all to come get bored to sleep by an old lady! 🥰

I always look forward to your videos... they are sooo relaxing and it feels like you're talking right to me, shooting the breeze, haha. I also wanted to add... my grandmother (whose birthday is today, coincidentally), my proudly Irish aunt, and I are invested in genealogy together too and, like your grandmother, they have very candid, straightforward ways of "telling it how it is" when it comes to our lineage. I so appreciate the honesty and authenticity you bring to every discussion. Not only have you previously given us glimpses into what has grieved you in the past, but now you've allowed us to see into chapters of your childhood that others would turn the page away from forever. It's so important to hear people who've lived through more than I have talk about their teenage missteps, or how they wanted to do things different from their parents but still occasionally stumbled into them regardless, and especially that values can -and often should - change over time, even if they were once core beliefs in your life. As someone who doesn't even recognize the man I was two years ago, and admittedly wonders whether those shifts in identity (and away from the values I once held onto like lifelines) were good or not, that was a much-needed reminder. Thank you for all the laughter and reassurance your stories brought me tonight, and for being unapologetically yourself - whether that's as a kiddo criminal or not 😜
When you mentioned how you could still appreciate your children's mischievous ingenuity even amidst punishment, I was hollering - I've so been there. Not as a parent, but as a...pawrent, I suppose? We just adopted a new puppy, and while she is the sweetest angel, she's still instinctually testing boundaries, y'know? So I keep having to maintain my composure mid-correction...only to be desperately concealing my laughter bc her "mischief" is so gosh-darn cute and clever. Sometimes, you've just gotta internally appreciate your babies' impish genius, or else it just goes to waste!

Hopefully you'll get some too. I'm German, Irish, Scottish, and French by ancestry. I just found out a couple of years ago when my sister did a genealogy search that I am a distant relative of Sir Winston Churchill. 😁

I was laughing out loud… when you mentioned the Ben Franklin store my mind immediately recalled the time I pocketed a Tangee lipstick and like you, I was taken right back to return it to the store owner.
