You know, I'm glad I found your channel. You are really a fantastic driver. I drove doubles and triples dirt work for years in Nevada. But I'm telling you what you could drive. Circles around my butt, you're an incredible son, very proud of you. Being such a wonderful driver
Matt, you bring back fond memories of my dad. Back in 1987, while I was building my house, my dad kept a day cab tractor and several surplus 40' dry vans for the farm. I was to the point of siding and gutters. He offered to pick up for me at the wholesale building material supply which was almost next door to the produce terminal he used. This saved me a nominal deliver charge but made my dad feel very good that he could help like that. He scheduled a delivery of pumpkins from the farm and back-hauled my gutters and siding in the semi. The longest gutter was 41' which was tricky to haul, but fit handily diagonally in the trailer. Nice benefit of owning a rig, even if it was a 20 year old day cab single axle.

You need a trucker GPS they have good apps also
Does the Moffet have a little Kubota diesel? If it does, try raising the rpms a little higher than idle and then turn the key to off. I have the same problem with my Kubota tractor and if you raise the rpms a little higher than you normal would, it will cut off.

@callthemall Hey bro is it hard finding work as an owner/operator? Also roughly how much is it to buy/finance a rig/trailer? I’ve had an AZ for a few years now but I’ve been doing garbage collection and am seriously considering doing AZ owner operator

Ha, I got 13 years Moffett experience M8 in Europe. And there’s no way we would be allowed to demount it like that 😂. I now live in Toronto and looking for work once I get my PR. Would your company be interested? I got 20 years experience without any incidents or faults.
Also on the m8 we have extendable forks which can extend to other side of the truck bed. Very useful

I was driving by with both empty trailers from a delivery beforehand, and even if I weren’t, it would be more hassle than it’s worth to drop one of the trailers then go get it, come back, and hook the trailer again for my next load
