As someone who grew up backing and spotting trailers of all types I have the utmost respect for you. I can't comprehend how some of these delivery drivers fail at backing a Promaster van down a straight lane. Still, the thought of backing double trailers give me the willies.

Not sure whether you blokes have 8 or 9 axle B-Double setups, but the principles are the same……just variations in “timing”, dependant upon axle spacing and articulation point spacing. Either way, off set intersection with obstacles makes it a challenge, ay? There’s absolutely NO shame in pulling up and, to be honest, if it takes a couple of cracks at it, so what? If anyone waiting gets the shits waiting for you to sort it out WITHOUT damaging anything, they can go do physically impossible “acts” upon themselves!!! I have a little more length and an additional articulation point (and a few more axles) and I find it’s easier and quicker to pull forward and realign earlier than it to let it get crossed up more and require more adjustments. I work by the maxim of “little bites” At a time. Of course on my job the obstacles are further apart -as is everything else!!!!!😂😂😂😂

Let's be real here, there a truck drivers out there with 20 or 30 years of experience that couldn't back just a single trailer into this spot in less time. Add another trailer on to that and they would be there for years trying to figure out how to get it in there. Way to go driver. You are obviously pretty much the best at your craft. Others need to pay attention and take notes.
