3:43 Hey! That's mine now! Thanks for a great deal on the machine, buying a one-inch tonight.
I tested meguiar's microfiber pads, cutting disc and finishing disc. They are fantastic!!. Cutting disc tested with D300 and M110 and finishing disc tested with M205 and M210. The cut, the finish 👍👍👍
Great info just subscribed
Just 1 question
I was thinking of getting the carpro orange its slightly cheaper than the rupes yellow
Do you have any experience with the carpro orange pad does it finish well going to polish our mazda 3 champagne coloured 2015
I would be willing to go rupes if its much better
I have carpro fixer and carpro reflect
There is not a lot of scratches on the car paint is just a bit dull had the car from new and its not had any protection on it but do plan to ceramic coat after
Thanks for any advice
Tommy
Hey thanks for subscribing, I have not used any CarPro pads specifically but have used Lake Country Orange Pads which I believe should be slightly similar. If you already have CarPro orange pads then go with those since you are using CarPro polishes. I will say I really like the new beveled edge on the new Rupes pads because it allows you to hug corners a little better without the backing plate hitting something like a door handle. It’s really all personal preference and there are only slight variations when it comes to pads. You might like the harder foam interface on the CarPro pad to diminish vibration and provide more cut to the surface. The only thing I would be worried about is the finishing ability of a medium cut pad on softer paint. If you do go with the orange pad I would get one or two finishing pads as well just in case you don’t get the finish you want.
@@DeconDetailing thanks for the reply I already have 6 of the white carpro pads
The difference between the capro orange and the rupes yellow is £2 per pad
If you look up the carpro orange it looks similar in make up to the lake country orange and car pro rate it cut 4/8 gloss 6/8
I will need to be careful with this car the paint does seem really thin but ill tell once I get my new paint depth gauge on it
Thanks for your help
Thanks for helpful vid. I’ve seen you got some diy labels I recommend getting some labels from Lex Garage those would make your Ik sprayers look hella nice.
Yeah Lex Garage’s labels are very clean and more aesthetically pleasing
