I had a long ponytail undercut and had to cut alot of the top length and grow my sides out....went to the hairdressers every 5 months for a " blending in" and shaping. Its been 18 months now and im almost like the mannequin on the right. It takes a looong time

Ever since I started using littlllexttra coconniooon shampoo and hair conditioner, I've noticed a good reduction in hair fall. It feels softer and looks shinier. Compared to using other shampoos there was more hair fall. Moreover, I've started using a scalp massager which I believe is also helping reducing hair fall.

Hey can you show us how to cut or set up a cut when then hair is till about our nose so it can grow to the final goal.
how do you work with hair that has 3 different lengths? i did a buzz cut almost 6 months ago?? dont really remember. either way. the hair on top, sides and back is long but the area between the top and sides where barbers usually do equalizing layers to blend the top and sides is shorter for me. currently my hair is 2.5-3 inches long and lightly wavy. aiming for a Jason Momoa shoulder length style.

I think the reason this works for *some* people (not all) is because plenty of people already have natural light waves in their hair that they might never even know about
not everyone can achieve the wavy texture theyd like without a perm, product, or other hair curling options that go against your natural hair shape
it's pretty rare to see people with pin-point straight hair though (at least where I am)

Hair grows at different rates from person to person just make sure to know if your hair is fine or thick and coarse to not get it completely flat when long enough, If you have wavy thick hair you would ((probably)) need to layer it so it doesn't look flat when it's long.

Can you help me! I have hair that seems like it’s pretty wavy but whenever it’s dry with no product and long it looks terrible and unmanageable like a weird Afro. I’m a white dude with blonde hair, I’d like to grow long hair like Jake Gyllenhaal in the covenant (I just have to finesse the sides a bit to be in regulations for national guard). Both of those mannequins would be about 2 years for me maybe I don't know the longest I've ever let my hair grow out was a year from January to January is normally what I do every year and then I cut it and start all over eventually want to try to go for me about 3 or 4 years but my problem is after a year I try to get rid of a lot of the weight in it shave down the sides and back and leave the top long but when I do this I end up screwing up and end up having to shave it all bald anyways
I'm growing my hair out but it looks flat and shapeless, and my face looks more round. I think the front strands of my hair are too long compared to the middle section and back. The way my hair falls also makes my face look more like an egg. I'm wondering if I should switch to a shorter volumous hairstyle so my face shape isn't obscured and so I can get some more edge to my face structure, but that feels a waste given the time I've spent growing my hair out, is there anything that might work for me long hair wise? I've grown my hair out before and it looked good so I'm having difficulty in understanding what changed to make it look bad now... it had so much flow and volume before.

try learning how to cut your own hair fam. just have a haircutting scissors cause crafting/dull scissors can damage your hair.

I accidentally cut my almost chest lenght hair to collarbone lenght hair i was supposed to cut only like 3cm but i cut off 8cm because i used a new technique ive never used where you part the hair into 4 parts put hairties and cut there and i obviously didnt realize how high the hairties were currently i hate it and i miss my old long hair so so much

Don't cut the sides and just let it grow
Trim the top and let the sides grow....visit the hairdresser every 5 months and tell them youre growing your hair out...tell them to check for split ends and dont cut anything .
