These schools also recruit. They don't recruit nationally but they do recruit within their area.
Its easier to be consistent when financially you don't have to worry about moving. These kids are predominantly born and raised in these areas. The best teams usually grow up with each other and they definitely play like it!
Duncanville has way more talent but it’s the coaches ability to utilize the talent thus why Westlake is good year in and out, but after the receiving core leaves(which is filled by juniors) and Klubnik , it’s going to be rebuilding phase for westlake. Why do you think Westlake was able to beat Northshore when they lack the talent and speed? It’s a great program.
@@fussballmeister301 They don’t recruit, but I can see a lot of transfers coming in. In Austin, it’s either LT, Westlake, Round rock or Cedar schools that have been consistently growing in the past decade.

Rich schools start training their kids in like 3rd grade and the kids are able to afford some of the best training which causes them to stay stacked for years and years. That’s why westlake, katy, slc, etc have all been some of the best texas football programs for the past decades

As someone who has lived in both Austin and Orange County, westlake is a great program, possibly the most talented public school team in the nation.
With that said, the chaps would’ve probably finished in 4th place in the trinity league this year.
I wouldn’t doubt it considering all talent goes to Servite, MD and SJB with no limitations of zoning. But it wouldn’t hurt to abuse that system if the talent goes to you.

My school played lake Travis in the playoffs it was a good game but I kinda want to see how my school would stand against westlake
Westlake could compete with any team in the nation. They might not be able to beat MD or SJB, but they could put up a fight. They have a huge mismatch advantage against every team they go up against, the majority of their receivers are all 6'3+ and very long and athletic. They have an enormous O line other than the center and right guard, and they have a 5 star QB in the backfield as well. Offensively they would be able to put up lots of points on anyone, however defensively I don't see them stopping MD or SJB, or Servite for that matter. They have a really good D-line but they are going to get tested later in the playoffs for sure.
They will beat every team they play in the playoffs by 50 points nobody good but Katy in D2

I go to westlake currently and most of the players actually have grown up through the district. There are a few people that transferred here in 8th grade but most of that team Ive grown up with since elementary school.

Georgia produces around the same amount of numbers recently as California has despite having 30 million fewer people. It's been like this for the past decade. Since 2000 Texas has had 61 1st round draft picks and California has had 49. California hasn't had a Heisman winner since 2005 and Texas has had 4. I can go on and on about the stats recently and it shows that Florida and Texas are on top. Not California anymore. Don't hide behind the private powers that California has because the way they get kids is completely different from the way public schools get kids, and I have the evidence to back it up.
