One just cannot emulate "Mudhuram Mani Aiyer" Sir. Even his best disciple TV Sankaranarayanan Sir. I also would request shushya of TVS to master this art for continuing the great tradition.
Not mohanam and not kalyani... pure mohanakalyani... MMI was a swaragyani and this aspect made his music nectar-like. Having started his career as an accompanist to MMI, LGJ understood and faithfully reproduced every aspect of MMI's music.
I will add up. I have heard Maharajapuram Santhanam Sir's mohanakalyani which is coming nearest to this. Great posting. Keep continue to post these types of Gems for minnows like me to hear to full satisfaction.
