Actually, no. 20th had a lot of great films, but t had its clunkers, too, However, what was usually great about Fox films when Alfred Newman ran the music department was the consistent excellence of the music. Whether Newman wrote the score or Bernard Herrmann, Franz Waxman, David Raksin or Cyril Mockridge, 20th Century-Fox scores were usually the best in the business.
The best video on this subject on CZcams till now. It would be nicer with a little 480p or HD, but compared to dozens other craps , this one is realy a miracle. Many Thanks !!
It simply reminds me of the antics of my students. I was leaning on a stick that I would use to open the canvas screen for the Power Point presentation and waiting for the projector to arrive from the multimedia room to present the material. As you can see from my photo, I'm a bald head, and the position I was in, holding a stick... behold, one of the students decides to play this sound theme loud and clear on his cell phone. I have never heard so much laughter in a classroom!
John Williams brought back the Newman fanfare for the first "Star Wars"movie. The studio had pretty much abandoned it when it switched from CinemaScope to Panavision and Williams thought it was appropriate for "Star Wars."
I exposed it, that the Fox Studios Baja fanfare was actually an fanfare from 2010 Cinema in Concert, because this logo released in 1999 it will be uses the 1997 fanfare.

Hi, Travis. What I meant to say is that 21st Century Fox is the new name for the old News Corporation. Yes, 20th is keeping its name.
After this - I ALWAYS expect the theme from Star Wars! ;-)
John Williams brought back the Newman fanfare for the first "Star Wars"movie. The studio had pretty much abandoned it when it switched from CinemaScope to Panavision and Williams thought it was appropriate for "Star Wars."
