This is a great feature. It's useful when you want to make a quick temperature change but want it to stay on the sound/media controls.
3:48 Those aren't pen holders, they are clips for holding the USB-cable. This car doesn't have wireless Android Auto, so they might be useful.

I bought a red Wind AWD with the Tech package last weekend and I'm really enjoying it. Its my new commuter car so i look forward to the daily drive now. Kia has really stepped up their game.
What are your thoughts on the vehicle a year later? I’ve been eyeing this vehicle for awhile now, and would love to hear your pros and cons from a user standpoint
@Epyeon A major pro today is that the depreciation makes it a used car bargain. It's a con for those of us that bought new, but you can get a lightly used model for a great price.
Got to test drive it today and was blown away on how fast and beautiful this car is, hurt when I couldn't take it home🤣😭
hold the unlock button down on the fob long enough and it will put the widows down.

7:10 Pro Tip: you can hide the trunk cover within the trunk. You can see brackets left and right below the bottom, so you have no problem to take the cover with you when transporting big stuff

not necessarily true; you can get the optional tech package on the wind which contains a lot of the same features as the gt line minus the hud, pop out handles, and highway assist 2...it's a $1500 option that is worth it especially if the gt line costs an extra $8k
7:51 You mean to tell me the light and dark mode isn't controlled by an ambient light sensor? It goes by time?!?! Where I live it's currently getting dark out at 4:30pm, but back in June it was still light out until nearly 9:00pm
In the UK I have the GV60 which uses the same Hyundai/Kia/Genesis E-GMP platform. In the same way the auto lights use a light sensor pretty sure the light/dark mode does. Certainly on my GV60 the infotainment/Driver cluster auto light to dark mode switch changes over the months as sunset time changes. It may actually use sunset time as obtained over cellular data.

Great review but please let people know that the best features are only on the GT line and this is 10k more than the Wind.
if you get the tech package on the wind it has most of the features found on the gt line and it's only $1500 extra.
Those aren't pen holder, they are cable or wire guide since there is no wireless android auto or carplay.

You’ll be surprised. Example, some vehicles key fobs don’t even have the engine remote start icon unless you know the combo code. Toyota.
Dont buy the KIA EV6 the mile range is a joke.
I've had the EV6 GT-Line for 2 monts. I have been getting 222 mile range at 100% charge, I've done this twice which I do once a month at full charge. I only got the 282 mile range when I left the lot and after that I never saw it again.
I actually called KIA and they said the EV6 uses your last driving data to give you the maximum mile range. WTF! My sister has a Tesla and she gets 400 to a full charge and never changes. KIA needs to fix this. It's disappointing to see a 100% charge only at 222 which should be 282., 90% charge is only 186 mile range. Imagine what the 80% charge KIA suggest to charge to. This EV6 GT-Line is not effin cheap. I drive the EV6 GT-Line at 70 mph snell slow and I drive in eco mode. I might end up selling this EV6 GT-Line due to the range not being accurate which really sucks.

What specs? The ones that don't really matter in the real world?
The Kia is more intuitive and easier to drive, more comfortable with a much better ride quality (while maintaining great handling), is nearly as quick, has a far better warranty, has many tech features that you cannot get on a Model Y (ventilated seats, 360° camera, opening sunroof with shade, carplay/android, HUD, V2L, 800v, etc), and it is far better looking than the awkward jelly-bean MY.
Don't get me wrong, the MY has its advantages and is a fine car as well, but by no objective assessment can you claim the EV6 is "way worse". It is at least as good as the MY and there is a legitimate argument that it is better.

@@amperformance7998 I'd agree. I've ordered an EV6 and it's got everything a driver needs. More physical buttons is not to be underestimated. The only thing I prefer with the model Y is the light open interior, but if that was a priority for me I would have bought an Ionic 5 over the model Y.
Hidden Features? Its a VERY basic introduction but in no way any Hidden Features...
EV's are not ready until 2032 at least. In fact they really won't be ready until 2042 truth be known. Currently they are just a pure expensive gimmick.
