By this morning the sun was out but leaving many low lying areas under serious flood waters . The waters continue to rise as of 2.00pm this aftrnoon. Hey Brian, just got dumped on by a heavy shower of rain. Had some hot sun this morning but now it seems that my weather is about to change. There's a large number of very dark and loomy clouds covering my area and I heard that southern parts of Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 had flooding. Places like Penal got some wetting that left other places impassable. I'm so grateful to have you as my meteorologist so that I am on top of the weather instead of the other way around. Thank you for always keeping everyone updated Brian,we really appreciate you 🙏 There is some serious trouble in south Trinidad (Penal) because it has been raining all night & now there is a lot of flooding being reported on the roads to inside people's homes & the Oropouche River is high whereas the rest of Trinidad is experiencing moderate rainfall as of 1:15pm,with saturated soils in some areas our local meteorology service has put us under a yellow level adverse weather alert & also persons on the north coast should be on alert for land slides... Also they are forecasting more rainfall this week to come so we better be prepared as the soils will become more saturated which will result in flooding easily. Stay safe everyone 🙏

There is some serious trouble in south Trinidad (Penal) because it has been raining all night & now there is a lot of flooding being reported on the roads to inside people's homes & the Oropouche River is high whereas the rest of Trinidad is experiencing moderate rainfall as of 1:15pm,with saturated soils in some areas our local meteorology service has put us under a yellow level adverse weather alert & also persons on the north coast should be on alert for land slides...
Also they are forecasting more rainfall this week to come so we better be prepared as the soils will become more saturated which will result in flooding easily.
