  • Did you know Reims, France is one of the most historically important cities in all of France? Reims has played a vital role in coronations and wars, most notably World War II (WW2). Reims Cathedral, Notre Dame de Reims, gives her sister in Paris a run for her money!
In this Reims City Guide, we take you around this charming champagne town to explore the Reims Cathedral, as well as, the historical figures and events that make this city so special. The surrender that ended WW2 was signed in a schoolhouse-turned-war room right in the heart of the city. You can visit the exact room, totally untouched and learn all about the role the city played in the second world war.
The history of Reims goes back even farther, all the way to Roman times and there are still remnants of the ancient city it used to be. Our Reims city guide will take you to an ancient city gate and then on to tales of Joan of Arc.
Reims, France is one of our favorite cities in the world - usually because of the champagne - but after exploring it through a historical tour we appreciate it that much more. Join us as we take you on a tour in our Reims France vlog! As always, we’ll see you in our next video as we Keep Going Places!

I am a native of Reims, I left there to retire by going to the Cote d'Azur. The weather is nicer there.
Thank you for this lovely visit.
Note a very fair comment. Tourists often talk nonsense. Not you.
I hope that you will have the opportunity to come back one day, during the Joan of Arc festivals for example, these are medieval festivals.

Notre Dame de Reims is definitely better than Notre Dame de aris. It's my favorite cathedral.
