Prime Redirection is one of these mods we didn't knew we needed, but it's really appreciated. This plus Fast Deflection and you're literally invincible because holy moly the shield regen ._.

Yeah I put prime redirection on my harrow and ran into a styanax with the overguard augment and ended up with over 39k hitpoints, including overguard, shields, and health, by the time we decided to extract. Crazy thing is it wasn't even fully upgraded.
i have poured life and soul into min maxing harrow and let me tell you have vazarin immunity for 3 entire seconds, rolling guard for 2, your 4, shieldgate, then overguard gating, you can survive just about everything easily on harrow

My friend normally hit 9k *not overshielded shields* , I don't know what powers they just gave him but I'm afraid of my next conversation with him.
The sweetspot with Hildryn is just above 6500 shields, her shields can be pushed to 9k easily but that requires sacrificing a few things and actually making the shields more fragile.

To be fair, there's no lie in that comment from Reb. They simply said they want to "be more critical" about new additions, which in simpler terms just means adding things with a purpose instead of just obligation. Primed Redirection's purpose is the shield system rework. Primed Convulsion is relevant to the current content expansion (electric is +25% against the Murmur's new health type, and it's a secondary weapon mod for the Grimoire).
Meanwhile, they also added the grimoire, as a new secondary archetype? And another segment to craft more shards. And Restorative Bond. And at least one completely useless tome mod. And Tennokai as a separate set of mods instead of becoming innate stance mod reworks.

@@yadielrosado8012 Personally Redirection + Adaptation with Sentinel (Typically Nautilus) using Guardian + Manifold Bond on top of Vazarin is plenty enough survivability, so I dedicate the rest of her build to buffing her abilities.
B.Rage, T.Fortitide, U.Intensify for gigachad strength on top of Molt Augmented/Efficiency. 1 cast speed shard/4 strength shards, with either Corrosive Projection for immediate 100% Armor strip on single cast, or Growing Power. Then Blazing Pillage, Stretch, and P.Continuity, with P.Sure Footed in exilus. Last but not least, got Roar in place of her 4th ability.
From there just make sure her 2/3/4 are always active and you can use her with whatever weapons you like. Since enemy Armor won't exist, I prefer utilizing elements that aren't typically ideal against it like Electric/Gas/Toxin. The DoT from these elements also benefit a lot from Roar. Xoris, Torid, Gas modded Proboscis Cernos are some of my faves to use.

I literally have seen people complain that this mod does nothing, and I try to explain how this is big for shield gating, but they say that nothing changes? I can't tell if people are genuinly that stupid, or shield gating was one of those features that was overhyped hell and immediately was forgotten about
Yeah a lot just saw how useless shields used to be for the midgame and just haven't had the time to shift all their builds to use the new form
As well as the large amounts of false information videos warframe is suffering from lately
I mean it really does not change much, some frames can get to 2.5 second shield gate with just redirection. Also if the frame doesn’t have any way to regen a large amount of shields at once, it is better to use catalyzing shields with augur mods/brief respite. This mon is only notable with hildryn and harrow as their ability or abilities are affected by shields. Technically styanax passive is affected by shields as well but there is no reliable damaging spearguns to abuse it with.
@@Tenshi0913 It's crazy how this mod provides very good utility with another mod that came out 2 months ago and you still are ignorant to it.
This mod makes it even easier to use link redirection on your companion to hit 1200 max shields and gain the permanent +60% fire rate benefit from reinforced bond. Regardless of that, primed mods > not primed mods, i'm not sure how you can look at ANY primed mod and say "yeah that's useless" when it's a flat upgrade.
@@Mastrmyrtr9 I’m not saying it useless I’m just saying in most case it is not better than catalyzing link but if you don’t do level cap and ok using adaptation over rolling guard then it’s fine but I do long endurance run and sometimes level cap and I do not feel like changing around my build between a chill setup and a more sweaty build. I rather keep the more sweaty build on at all times so whenever I feel like doing level cap I don’t have to change around anything. Also wasting a mod slot on your Warframe to get a buff from your companion don’t seem worth it when you can use companions who can reach 1200 shields easily like wyrm prime, moa, or a hound. You can also use a fire rate arcane as well. Mod slots are more valuable than arcane imo as Arcane energize is almost always a must have and any other arcane is down to preference.
@Tenshi0913 i mean ferrox is a decent spear if you got a riven as even without much rolling you can get something runable as long as you avoid punch through iirc (unless DEsguting finally patched throwing it through the floor into the void)

Are you talking about the value change from Redirection's +440% to +100%? That wasn't a nerf, that was a math refactor to make it more understandable without changing the mod's effectiveness. 300 shield + 440% shield capacity = 740 shield makes no mathematical sense; 370 shield + 100% shield capacity = 740 shield does.
Most frames actually got buffed by 1-2% from this change.

I feel the old shield gate shouldn’t have been replaced with the mod as eventually only certain frames will be used in 5k+ as those frames will have easier access to the new gate. IMO they should both In game.
Well yea you can feel that way, but I have to ask. How does it feel to be wrong?
Contrary to what you might think, this mod is actually good for shield gating (though, albeit in a different form, it's not the Augur/Brief Respite method).
The companion rework made sentinels viable. Sentinels have a mod called Guardian which restores your shields, not by a set amount like the aforementioned shield/energy spent effects, but rather, by 100%. This mod has a 30 second cooldown. This cooldown can be reduced by another mod: Manifold Bond. It reduces companion ability cooldowns by 3 seconds whenever you kill an enemy with 3+ unique status effects on them. This is absolutely no problem for a weapon like the Ocucor, which comes stock with Radiation and you can additionally mod for Viral Heat. So, as long as you can get 10 kills during your shield gate duration, you're unkillable.
That's where primed redirection comes in- in the new update, bigger shield max= bigger shield gate duration. So you have more time to get those kills to force guardian to re-proc.
