- Hey All
So In recent news the Ulster Grand Prix is not going to be on for 2024 which I don`t think anyone is surprised but the saga carries on but is this the start of the end of Road Racing ?
Tnadragee is not happening this year as well due to the roads not being upgraded or mantained for the road racing season
What do you think ?

I am so pleased we saw this while it still.existed. It was as astonishing as you could imagine . The riding abilities, skill and sheer nerve were mind boggling. Yes it's dangerous but no one is forced to race
It would be a real shame to see road racing disappear. It's an amazing spectacle.
It is but we are leaving in a bubble wrapped world and insurance has the sport by the nuts but let’s hope it does disappear
Not on the isle of man, they literally couldn't survive without the cash it brings to the island 😊
If it's anything like here in the Rep it's down to insurance for the lack of road racing
It’s sad the way it has gone the last couple of years but the UGP was suffering well before all this
My guess is that there have been lots of calls for it to be canceled because of the concerned public saying its dangerous. The nw200 and cookstown 100 barely got by as it suffered the same fate.
Its not the insurance issue its definite something else.
There's something sketchy going on in Ireland full stop, but you're not alone. There is a conspiracy. Shame about the UGP, wanted to see that once in my life.
I think they should use rain tires, and not cancel.
Lmao true some teams to busy pushing their sunglasses sponsor 😂
Even the short circuits have dwindled so maybe the insurance cost is a big factor. I think road racing is coming to an end. The proposed Coalisland circuit has floundered again and maybe we should have a circuit good enough for international races. Again it comes down to funding. We probably are in too small of a land to raise the funds for a venue to host international events.
