The key point is neur swings his leg towards saka all the way up to the contact, if his leg was planted before the contact I’d say it’s not a pen but it clearly is

You guys are forgetting the rules of a penalty kick when there’s a supposed foul on a player, it’s all about contact and the goal keeper clearly made contact on the player regardless if Saka left his leg out or not! The goal keeper ran out of his goal area to intercept the player and any contact on the player their after is a foul and a penalty! The player did run straight up at the goal keeper, he attempted to dribble but going to the left side of the keeper and was obstructed! So it’s a PENALTY for me

If it’s not a dive it’s a penalty because there was clear contact on the player. Saka played the ball, switched direction, Neuer stops him from running past him by extending his leg and getting in his way. Doesn’t matter if Saka “kicked” Neuer because that means nothing. The fact is what matters is the fact Neuer extended his leg. Saka at that speed couldn’t have done anything else. Terry is right and if this happened against us I wouldn’t question it because the simple fact is any contact on the attacker no matter what is a penalty.

Terry is wrong on this one. Saka was already moving forward in a diagonal fashion. He needed to keep facing the left corner flag in the forward motion and then turn towards the goal after clearing the goalie. Instead, he chooses to turn towards the goalie before clearing him. It appears that he didn't turn right because he was still going forward diagonally forward. If you have a 2 lane road infront of you with traffic going diagnonally towards your left, a car changing lane from left lane to right lane on that road would still appear to be going left from your perspective because the average forward motion is still towards the left despite the car panning right during that forward motion

The only reason I can think that it's not given is because in real time as you see him jump it looks like a dive. Should the ref's attention been called to it by VAR yes but at that stage of the game no one was going to do that.
