I do agree with that. You can’t be shouting to the manager telling them to throw the game. Many spurs fans did not want us to win that game and I was in that camp but at the same time we know that the manager has a job to do and if Spurs had managed to get a result against Man City that would have a real positive. Anyway it’s done, and we will move on, this was a freak occurrence that we will likely never see again in our lifetime.

I believe this has been blown out of proportion by the frenzy of TS. Most Spurs fans I know and myself all wanted to win against City to potentially get a CL place. Arsenal didn't gain anything was a secondary after thought and no where at the level its being portrayed.

It was a CRAZY one off scenario and I’m glad it panned out how it panned out! We played well and did ourselves a service on the day. It just wasn’t to be. They’re the best team domestically and Europe (as it currently stands) for a reason … Next year, we go again after improving in the summer in a competition that I want us to go out and win … Being in the CL just to make up the numbers when ur not ready isn’t it! This debate is nonsense. It was only a small percentage of fans celebrating. Most of us were sitting there not knowing how to feel about anything, it was a horrible position to be in. It only happened because this was a rescheduled game. It's easy for everyone to talk, but until it's your team in that exact same position that's all it is, talk. Some fans here should experience how some rivalries are played out in other countries over games with far less riding on them.
