1:18:45 I can actually explain what this is. Air ride has a debug menu that lets you enable lots of developer tools, like spawning items or showing normally invisible pathing. What this is, is the general pathing for the AI; the cyan lines are the exact path, and the yellow lines are boundaries for variation on these paths.

@@How_Is_This_A_Name Kirby Air Ride was likely made with the same engine as Smash Melee. The main debug menu screen has the same visuals as Melee. I actually made some videos about it years ago, and some of my info and a video got into the TCRF article :)

At this point, I'm convinced there's some guy out there that purposefully fucks with the game's code to make the kind of shit that happens at 42:23 . There is absolutely no other explanation other than "Someone is pulling some magician-level slight of hand tricks here".
It's certainly nothing new. People have been fucking with the code manually for a while now. How do you think people managed to sneak a gnome into Metroid Prime 2 that one time?
Have you seen the Metal Gear Solid Amogus one? Of course they're doing it, have been for a while.
This is all performed in the RTC, the Real Time Corruptor, so we must look there for our answer.
The RTC has a "Glitch Harvester" feature where you can take specific parts of a corruption and save them for later, possibly even edit them, and then inject them into the game.
But this takes both expertise and extreme precision as well as a ton of trial and error. So let us take a moment to appreciate the hard work that went into creating them.
That or they just put the disc on a blood pentagram, threw some goat blood onto it while chanting in tongues.

@@Valetravelgames oh, you mean a language. editing strings like that internally is easy to implement in pretty much any practical language. displaying them like that isn't. you would need a simplistic GUI of sorts, something that is hell in C/C++, but which is probably going to be the language you'll want to use. the easier a language is, the slower it often runs. so don't use python. see if you can find a library mimicking a command line shell in appearance but which allows you to backtrack like that. Windows CMD won't allow it. Then just strain your brain on how to achieve the task, go through the reference to see the tools at your disposal. you'll be advanced level in whatever language you choose if you do this with minimal help, beyond the use of references and very general tutorials. use text tutorials that look like they were professionally produced, else you probably won't actually learn. trust me, I know that from experience. I recommend C++. It's a beast of a language, but it certainly is possible to learn in just a couple of weeks (I did) and extremely useful. you'll be able to do this in probably just a few lines once you actually find the correct solution to the problem. it'll take you weeks, but then you have something to be proud of.
and there you go. that's how you make that effect. i really do hope you're a beginner, else you probably knew half of that already lol. good luck.

When I was younger I was absolutely obsessed with Barnyard. I have no clue why. I watched it when it came out in theaters, I watched it at a display in Sears for over an HOUR, and I watched it on my 2007 birthday in some tiny theater where we were the only people in the whole audience.
So I have yet to see these Barnyard corruptions, but they’re going to corrupt the very roots of my brain. I’m excited. Will report if I live.
