Hello, thank you for the feedback and I am really glad to hear that videos are helpful! I use tick charts because it makes it easy to see the channels, structures and signal bars etc.. I also use Stochastic, MACD and Choppiness Index for NT8. I shared a picture, showing the values of those in our discord. Also I prefer heiken ashi tick charts color painted bars which helps to cut some of the noise with the bars and helps me to stay in trades longer.

Hello, I use time charts regularly 1,5,15 minutes and hourly but never tried 30 second chart. I will take a look at it, thanks for the recommendation!
I know a guy who uses an 80 range chart on the MNQ.
What is the difference between an 800 tick chart vs an 80 range chart on MNQ?
Range bars are based on a predefined range (like 80) movement and tick charts are based on the number of trades (like 800) I usually use 2000 tick with mnq since it has more transactions than minis. I like tick charts bec it gives me more clear information on the volatility and more accurate price details.
Also, do you trade NQ during the extended hours or regular trading hours?
I usually trade RTH, rarely I trade extended hours.

What platform do you recommend trading NQ?
I use NinjaTrader, it can be a good choice IMO. Customization and advance ATM options are really plus for day trading especially for scalpers... Another one would be Tradovate with less options with more straightforward trading charts.
Nice scalps man. I've seen you make some very good trades, but I have to ask, are you profitable? I've been struggling to be green for the last 3 years.
Thank you I appreciate the feedback always! I am profitable but I have losses as well as many of the traders.. I accept it as part of the process, just trying my losses smaller than my winners. I try to not too hard on myself about being a consistent trader/winner all the time, I am just here trying to win this game eventually and remind myself it is a marathon not a sprint. I pay attention a lot on my trading behaviors which I think one of the most key elements with trading and being profitable.
After a couple years of funded trader challenges, I work full time so I didn’t have a lot of time. I went from being pretty bad, to getting close many times to finally passing. I am a believer in the prop firms cuz they train us how to day trade.
I have studied patterns and indicators for years only to fail. The more perfect the setup, less likely to work. I like double tops and bottoms, I prefer quick scalps. Good luck. Use the prop firms for training

How do I get started with NinjaTrader?
It depends on what kind of account you want to have. If you want your own account, need to do a deposit first and create your ninjatrader account. If you want to do a prop account, like Apex, than just follow their how-to setup instructions to set it up NT8.
