Templates on NT8 can mess up existing settings for users (happened in the past) so I prefer to just tell individually what I am using. I would say not much change, heiken ashi bars show the wicks and signal bars like regular candle bars. I prefer heiken ashi bars because they make the PA smoother and help cutting the noise a bit more.

With NQ 800 tick is pretty close to 1 minute tf chart.

Tradovate setup was a while ago.. My current setup is with NT8, I use 800 tick chart with heiken ashi bars,with MA lines, 9 ema, 25 ema, 50 sma and vwap line. I also use 4k tick chart and 5 min chart along with my entry 800 tick chart. I use 15m 30m and hourly for bigger tf charts.

I have checked the NQ historical data with different tick size and liked the most 800 tick size for signal bars that break structures and levels.
