He didn't check the tags on purpose. He let the DA go off to show her entitlement and let the other officers keep talking to expose the corruption

So Sandra dealt with 3 homicides that day? Luckily the speed she was driving didn't cause a 4th.
Doing 55 in a 35 is very dangerous. A 35 mph zone is most likely residential and in place to protect the community. Vehicles and people don't expect a large vehicle to speed at nearly twice the posted limit in residential areas. Dangerous
Lol stop it. 35 Is an arbitrary. I find it annoying that she acted this. Cars should pull over only when they feel safe
@@kenw2225Any time an emergency vehicle has its lights on, you by the law have to pull over for the emergency vehicle to go past you!!!!!! It’s not just because you are being pulled over! However if you are being pulled over it’s best to slow down, turn on your blinker and pull over as soon as you can preferably turn into a parking lot so you won’t be in the street.
Absolutely! I wonder what people in her neighborhood think of her driving. Especially if kids are around.
@@kenw2225 Hi Sandra!
My father was a police officer for 25 years 17 of them as the chief of police. The city he worked for about 5 years into his stent as the chief got a new mayor. They were cool with each other until approximately 3 years later one of his officers stopped the mayors son for a DUI. Sometime around 3AM my dad gets a call from the Mayor, she informs him of the stop and “demanded” he tell his officers to let them go and allow the mayor to drive the vehicle to her home.
My father called the officer who initiated the stop and asked him for the full story. He explained it was a DUI stop, not only was the driver clearly intoxicated, there was an open container in the vehicle. He told the officer to proceed as usual and called the mayor back. He informed the mayor under no circumstances was she going to receive special treatment. At this point the mayor said to him “You have just made a big mistake against a very powerful enemy. Watch your back.”
The silver lining to the story is that was on a recorded line and the mayor ultimately ended up resigning in disgrace. But the moral of the story is how disturbingly common these types of things happen. It’s sad and disgusting the amount of corruption there is in politics and law enforcement.
Thank you.
not only in politics and law enforcement
Doorley is an intimidator, who likley treated the police like shit, and although she has no control over the officer's employment, likely threatened them with that. Intimidation is powerful when this is your home town, you have a mortgage and a family and a potential black mark on your record. I can understand how this happens,
I have seen intimidation in a few workplaces, at some point, there is a tipping point, where being fired is better than being employed.
I worry about friendly fire 😢. The police are under siege. The good cops are in danger. Be suspicious of police departments who don’t use body cams.
Your dad went from patrolman to chief in 8 years? I sense a fib.
By her entire demeanor, I believe she was drinking: eluding, standing as far away as possible from the officers, talking from her doorway…
This is a good point. In her position as a DA, she would know that she was in be big trouble if stopped for the officer. Fleeing the scene and being permitted to on into her home gave her the opportunity to get rid of any incriminating evidence. Also by being uncooperative, she avoided having to undergo a breath test.
Exactly. She brought something into the house and left it there.
Exactly! She could have had the same conversation on the side of the road but then she wouldn’t have been able to distance herself (and the smell of alcohol) or hide the evidence that she took into the house while the officer was trying to talk to her. What was the big deal if she was able to dispose of the ticket anyway. I absolutely think she was under the influence.
💯
@suec8337 Exactly what I was thinking, she didn’t want to stop because he would have come to her window and he might have smelled her breath. She also wouldn’t step to the back of her vehicle, and tried going in her house. You were the first one I saw make that observation. I’m sorry, she actually DID take that lunch bag in the house.
She doesn’t have the temperament to be a DA. She is like a spoiled brat.

This is the textbook definition of felony fleeing in New York. he was within his scope of duty to arrest her and put her in jail
This is crazy
Excellent analysis. You're comments at the end regarding corruption are spot on. I hope conscientious Police Chiefs, DA's and Mayors across the country use this video for training. No one "should be" above the law. As a veteran, I was disappointed that the Lieutenant did not provide the junior police officer unequivocal support after he arrived and assessed the situation.
As the chief of police I would fully investigate the matter and throw the book at her.
Did she take something out of the vehicle into her house?
She is the reason that we need defense attorneys. People like that running prosecutors office is dangerous.
Sounds like something Kamala Harris, the ex-AG of California, and now our VP, would pull. Hypocrites, the both of them.
If an ordinary citizen behaves that way, we risk injury, possible death and certainly a charge for obstruction and resisting.
You forgot "unlawful fleeing" (most other places call it "felony eluding"). In New York, it is a felony - that's up to 7 years in prison, up to 5 years of probation, a fine up to $5,000, or any combination of those penalties. She needs to prosecute herself to the fullest extent of the law for her felony offense.
I didn't bother with the lesser charge of reckless driving. Although it, too, results in a criminal record, it is a slap on the wrist compared to fleeing/eluding.
If it was a regular citizen, they would have pitted the vehicle long before reaching the house.
@@NoNonsense316 "She needs to prosecute herself to the fullest extent of the law for her felony offense."
Good one!
The don't pit during rush hour...dangerous.
Any regular person would be arrested. Charged with fleeing, speeding, and any other charges that would fit. Not following the cops orders and going into the house force used for compliance.
I'm a paramedic and an emergency nurse, which means that this "brotherhood" also applies to me. But the thing is, _we should be held to an even higher standard of adherence than the general public_ .
Cops, judges, and prosecutors should meticulously adhere to the laws that they are tasked with enforcing (unless they're responding code 2 to a call). It's absolutely crucial that those who are tasked with upholding the law and administering justice are in no way _above the law_ .
And emergency/critical care medical providers (including ER & ICU staff) and fire fighters should be driving extremely carefully, because we know exactly how bad the consequences of reckless driving can be first hand. When you've seen literal decapitations of innocent victims due to the reckless driving of another person and run codes of children ejected from vehicles due to a reckless parent, then you have *absolutely no business* subjecting the public to that type of driving.
Cops also work these horrific accidents, so they really have double the accountability expectation.
The most egregious part of this affair by far is Doorley waving her DA's badge and trying to intimidate the officers in order to get special treatment. That is blatant corruption. The speeding and failing to stop pale into insignificance compared to this. She must be removed from office. In addition, it cannot be true that she would he prosecuting her own case. That is a ridiculous conflict of interest obviously, an independent prosecutor would surely have to be brought in.
People who hold positions in the judiciary system should be held to twice the standard of the normal person. I cannot stand abuse of power.
Well, Ms. Doorley has truly messed up here. She has publicly shamed herself. The body cam says it all. She will never ever live this down. If she had shown humility, respect, and cooperation, all would be well. Tragic for her career.
Tragic for her but a blessing for that community. 1) hopefully she won't speed again & endanger others 2) she won't be able to be corrupt in her role anymore. Who knows how many times she has already messed with cases
This is the biggest shame of all. Imagine the example she could have set by handling this with decorum? It could have been a great opportunity to exercise humility and even prop up her career by holding herself accountable. Instead, she threw it all away. What a dunce.

the police chief has no business to speak to his subordinate via a private third party phone, and what is he going to say - put in a good word for her?! it is neither his case nor his business, in fact the police chief should have flatly refused to speak to the cop through a private third party line and put down the phone, it looks like the police chief is as corrupt as the DA
Lol sure.
Theres a reason people want the da job. Thats one of the reason
Sandra is so full off herself that she didn't even realize that she could have been apologetic and nice to the officer and most likely been issued a simple warning.
“I don’t care” says it all! FIRE HER!
1. She didn't see him.
2. She saw him but thought it was for one of the other cars on the road.
3. She knew it was for her but wasn't willing to stop on the busy road.
Which is it, lady?
She actually admitted that her initial call to his boss was to tell him to back off.
How on EARTH can she ever prosecute a "Fleeing a Traffic Stop" charge in court again?? Get your résumé ready, lady!
LOL!!
Yes, she should be applying for a job at a fast food place.
Exactly! Her reputation is done. She's all over social media now, you can't run or hide.
💯! I hope she’s fired! Horrible entitlement.
That would be so funny to see argued.
She was going in and out of that car and nothing happened while i saw videos where people couldnt even get their id out of there pockets only to be pointed by weapons from officers while screaming on them! . What in the priviledgement is going on here!!
It’s corruption if she’s treated differently to anyone else . Nothing seemed wrong with way he treated her or how the other officers behaved when they arrived on the scene, it was just that her reprehensible behaviour wasn’t initially reflected in the charges .
Alternatively, she was drunk or had open alcohol/drugs in her purse, which she rushed to put in her home and not leave in the car
"Do you think I care if I was going 20mph over the speed limit?".
Typical Trump supporters no surprise here
She was a democrat first than decided to be a controlled opposition republican.
Not a big deal. Cops drive like this everywhere. I'm a better driver than them, and many other are too. Driving a bit fast isn't a big deal. It's dangerous to pull over.
@@kenw2225You're a terrible driver if you believe that.
CZcams screw off. You show a comment as posted but you deleted it as quick as it is posted if it doesn't agree with your communist leftist garbage Buddies
This is my city and such an embarrassment.
Yea that’s unfortunate & quite embarrassing.
Vote the cow out.
This is every city USA before body cams.
If that was anyone else, fleeing and eluding, she would have applauded the officer for tasing them and throwing them in jail.
Vote her ass out asap
She wasn't going to use her position to try to get out of the charge? A liar!
She gets paid for her critical thinking skills & judgement. Wow.
Thank you for covering this. I'm so glad this has gone viral nationwide and this is being investigated. I live in Rochester, and I assure you that, if this were an inner city person of color, they would have been tazed, thrown to the ground, handcuffed and hauled off to jail! Her behavior is disgusting!
As a former resident of Monroe County, Penfield being my home town, I can say the city of Rochester and surrounding suburbs have turned into an absolute toilet! Crime is rampant and corruption from the top down is common. Sandra should resign but she'll probably go kicking and screaming, best of luck to you Rochester....
Hahaha no that's definitely not true.
@@meumnomen No, its even worse than that.....
@@meumnomen"... definitely not true."? Ever hear of Mayor Ugly Warren? 🙂
No lies detected, it’s a dump.
is she involved in organised crime?
She said to the officer get the f*** out of my house !
This woman needs to be removed from this office !
The entitlement of people like her is off the charts. Imagine if any of us acted as she did. What she say herself if someone acted the way she did? The double standard is outrageous.
A seriously connected individual will accept a citation with grace, and it'll simply disappear. Everyone else is deluded.
That’s the issue, she didn’t even do that!
She thought the, police chief would get her, off? What is her relationship, with the chief?
in fact the policeman should not have got on the phone with the police chief, it is not his duty to get on the private phone calls with whoever is on the other side of the line, if the police chief wants to speak with his subordinate there are lines of communication through police channels designed for that purpose by law enforcement policies. in fact the moment "the DA" called the police chief to get her off she committed another criminal offense - the bribery
Easy.
1.) “back-scratching”/favors
2.) $$$$$$$
i love how her pictures are so unflattering
Ugly is as ugly does 🤣
Retired now, but still remember in my first rookie year as a LEO pulling over a top level state administrator for ample signs of DUI. He also pulled the 'power act' considering himself above any laws. My ethics were, and still are, steadfast without any 'give'. He was genuinely shocked and in disbelief when I arrested him, and in seeing his intimidation efforts went nowhere on me.
It was hard to see this 'officer' be so intimidated and to 'cave' to this wench, when he should have gone hands-on, cuffing her, and arresting her the moment she first refused to obey his lawful commands. His Sgt & Lt also 'lack a pair' and allow themselves to be led by the nose by those with 'political pressure'. Disgusting.
"THE" DA. I noted too on both released body cameras how the conversations with her were more guarded, and notably that the Lieutenant had an off camera long conversation with her.
It's telling how little she respected the Officer.
I also found it questionable why she pulled into the garage and went into her home, while telling the officer to get out. I've seen some question whether she was DWI and stashed whatever she had in the garage or home.
Dr. Grande, thank you for bringing attention to this case. I had seen it in my stream before, but only first clicked on it when I saw your coverage. An important case of corruption and attempted intimidation.
Wow, isn't she a special kind of special?
Great analysis. Thank you.
I sure hope she loses her job. She should be embarrassed to show her face in public.
Good job, Dr. Grande, in exposing this entitled, unfit public official.
She needs to be dismissed, clearly she does not consider herself to be a servant of the public or beholden to civil law.
Driving 55 in a 35 is an imaginary reason to be pulled over. 35 is as arbitrary as it gets. Or do people believe that the speed limit is the end all be all? That's nonsense
@@kenw2225Huh? You don’t believe in speed limits? And it’s ok to flee the cops, not obey lawful orders?
I’d like to ask about the Chief, too. Something stinks, BADLY.

Yes another example of "Laws are for thee, not for me."
Thank goodness for bodycams.
Now we just need the police to stop muting bodycams (aka destroying state evidence) in their favor.
Laws for women
I am a great seer of the future. An image is forming... yes... yes... It's a document and it reads: "We have investigated ourselves and have found no wrongdoing." This is all over CZcams! How can they not get rid of her😮
That "submissive" officer was showing copious self-restraint in a situation that could've easily ended his career.
Instead, it's the entitled DA whose career is in jeopardy & rightfully so.
Professional courtesy extends an inch & not the miles it took for her to get to her house.
Very enlightening. I’m 60 and this description fits every DA, police department and other criminal justice agencies I’ve ever seen. Perfect.
Perhaps Ms. Doorley should reacquaint herself with section 1102 of the state vehicle and traffic code : No person shall fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order or direction of any police officer or flagperson or other person duly empowered to regulate traffic. Or perhaps article 270.25 of the state penal code A person is guilty of unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor
vehicle in the third degree when, knowing that he or she has been
directed to stop his or her motor vehicle by a uniformed police officer
or a marked police vehicle by the activation of either the lights or the
lights and siren of such vehicle, he or she thereafter attempts to flee
such officer or such vehicle by driving at speeds which equal or exceed
twenty-five miles per hour above the speed limit or engaging in reckless
driving as defined by section twelve hundred twelve of the vehicle and
traffic law.
Unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree
is a class A misdemeanor
I am so glad that Dr. Grande has made his channel.
the corruption is infuriating.
The officer was very professional. I wish he would have requested a sobriety field test but his superiors were less than supportive. The officers need addressing as well in supporting fellow officers.
