Im so glad to finally get something little like this that I can work on myself with others. BUT WHAT A FIND!!! It is fairly rare to come across a vehicle like this that's had only 2 owners but technically one as its been in the family the whole time. LETS RESTORE IT BACKS TO ITS GLORY.

Great video luke! Best video since the trading up days. I had a few e36’s back in my early 20s, and I really miss owning them. I think it’s a 1.8 m42 lump if it’s a 95 pre facelift, I maybe wrong though. I had the same engine in my old 95 compact, but it was a fun little engine compared to the normal 318i engine.
Though I loved my little compact, it was the sound of my 320i and 323i coupe that I loved.
Try putting the key in the door lock and holding it in the lock position, it should close the windows.
The black box under the bonnet is the alarm :)

That’s cool. I really want to get a classic, though I do love my f20. A good website to see all the BMW parts on a diagram kind of site is called ‘realoem’ if you type in the last 7 digits of your vin, it will take you the right car :) good luck :)

Prices for these are all over the place, but for a completely stock 3 door factory manual 318is this is good price mate 🤌🏽 especially one with this many low owners and to have all the original paperwork & keys etc man
