    This was one of the best games I ever remember seeing. I thought it was all over when LSU jumped up 17-3, but Bama launched a good comeback. And then LSU launched a good comeback. All I can say is Roll Tide, Geaux Tigers and I hope the best conference in the NCAA (SEC) brings another championship home.

    Chalk me up as another LSU fan who has nothing but extreme love and respect for Nick Saban. He didn't intentionally wind up at Alabama, and I don't blame him for how he got there. The way I look at it is that there will now be a shift in the balance of power: away from Auburn and towards Alabama. And it will happen quickly.
    That's fine with me. I look forward to many more great games between LSU and Bama!

    i was at the game in Tuscaloosa on Saturday and although I was obviously extremely disappointed, and at times mad at JPW's fumble and the seemingly endless reversed calls...it was one of the best games I've ever seen.
    And I must say the visiting LSU fans were very classy, great fans. It was a great atmosphere and I'm sure they're welcome back anytime.

    Man, breathtaking game. We could get into the indiscipline of LSU killing themselves, but lets just go with 2 teams with nothing but Heart going at it SEC style. Saban did us proud when he was here and he will for sure do the same at BAMA. I just hope Les keeps the talent up like he has and the games stay at a high level for years to come.
    Lets keep that crystal football in the SEC where it BELONGS!!!

    That punt return for a touchdown was so amazing. I was so happy at that moment. Roll tide. LSU won't have the 17 starters that Saban recruited when Alabama plays LSU next year.

  • @Xavy256

    Alot of emotion in that game. LSU hands it to Bama who hands it to LSU who hands it back, and so on. My blood pressure may never be the same. Great game on both sides. LSU is truly a championship team. All I can say is ROLL TIDE!!! and for the rest of the season Geaux Tigers. Bring that Championship down to the SEC where it belongs.

    Hey! The cardiac kids did it again! I'd like to see all the other teams come from behind in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter to WIN in four out of five games! Coming from behind takes the HEART of a TIGER! And giving up the points and then getting them back makes for EXCITING! GEAUX TIGERS!

    This video is from a Birmingham Newspaper? I just wonder how the camera is so close to the sporting onfield action. I'm also curious as to what the players are singing at the end of the video. Geaux Tigers! Bama and LSU tend to play each other better at the other's stadium, so let's see how they do next year!

    I guess Dinardo get's the credit for the 03' NC, seeing as how it was mostly his players. By the way, LSU got extremely lucky to even make it to the 03' NC game. Unlikely losses that season enabled Saban to squeak in, or we aren't even talking about Saban as a NC winner.

    With a month to prepare and a month to heal up,
    We're all pretty sure which team will show up.
    He ain't going to Michigan, and we're sure of that.
    But Tressel and the Buckeyes should still Fear the Hat.
    On December first, he called L-S-U home.
    Then set up the Tigers, to play again in the Dome.
    It soon will be legend, how Les started that day,
    "Can't talk now. . . . I'm busy. . . [Y'all] have a GREAT day!"

    Miles has taken you to the championship riding the back of Sabans recruits! If you take all the big play makers off that team, Dorsey, Flynn, Stelz...you have an average team! Those are all Saban's recruits, just like Jamarcus Russell was...college football is all in the recruiting...and btw, Bama just took over the #2 in the nation recruiting class and when we add Julio Jones it will be #1...so enjoy it while you can...the writing is on the wall!

  • @LauraEfferson

    Yeah, we had alot of adversity to overcome, some people made some stupid decisions that cost us alot of scholarships and and bowl appearances, plus the coaching carousel. But lets be real, its only been 15 years since our last national title...thats not long, not in the scheme of things with 117 D1 schools. LSU had a title in like 1958 and nothing till 2003!

    You mean like how LSU went 4-7 in 1998 and then 3-8 in 1999 with a total of 3 SEC wins in two years...and then Saban came along in 2000 and by 2003 they were national champions and LSU fans said he was the greatest coach on the planet! Funny how your argument only holds water if you narrow your mind to the last few months and ignore even YOUR OWN teams history!

  • @eddieharr
    @eddieharr Před 17 lety

    They are singing the LSU alma matre. When Les Miles became coach he made the rule that after every win, the whole team would sing the alma matre with the band. And after LSU made Bama bleed the crimson tide from the butt holes, they did just that.

  • @eryan2369
    @eryan2369 Před 16 lety

    Sure, ill agree LSU is PRESENTLY the better team. But one thing LSU fans fail to do...give credit where credit is due, Nick Saban MADE YOU WHO YOU ARE TODAY! YOU WERE 4-7 AND 3-8 THE TWO YEARS BEFORE HE ARRIVED!

  • @eryan2369
    @eryan2369 Před 16 lety

    Its funny how LSU people like to say, now that he's not there anymore, that Saban isnt that great. LSU was nothing before him! LSU went 3-8 the year before Saban arrived in Baton Rouge and he took you to a national title in just three years! You owe him everything!!! And btw, he only won 7 games his first year there as well. So no, were not too concerned about that.

    Shula had good recruiting classes top 10 and top 15, so don't act as if you guys don't have talent. You especially have more talent than UL Monroe and Miss State, but just aren't as well coached as them. You guys shouldn't be worried about being a monster next year, as you should be worried about beating teams like UL Monroe.

  • @eryan2369
    @eryan2369 Před 16 lety

    Bama "gave that game away"...your partly correct, LSU certainly didnt win it on their own. They had a little help from the zebras to stop our drive with only 5 minutes to go in the game and give LSU the ball back. Bama clearly completed a long pass on third and long that was somehow overturned...the somehow being that the SEC knew that LSU was there last chance at a title game appearance and the millions of $ that come with it. So they helped you out!

    Its easy to recruit to a team thats already on top. Without Saban's success, pulling LSU up from the depths of 3-8, Miles would not have the success he has had. He's living off the program that Saban built! Its funny how obvioud that is, especially how obvious it is that Saban resurected your program, yet because he's not there anymore and he's with a hated enemy you deny that also. Even though the proof is positive, 4-7 and 3-8 before he arrived there to a national title in just three years.

Its easy to sit on your high horse when you only just arrived at the party! =)

    Yeah, what a difference maker...LSU 4-7 in 1998, 3-8 in 1999....Saban hired in 2000...by 2003 national champions...I suppose that was strictly coincidence and the person recruiting the athletes and devising the game plans had NOTHING to do with that sharp turn in success?! Funny how you ignore even your own recent history when it doesnt suit your argument!

  • @eryan2369
    @eryan2369 Před 16 lety

    Yeah thats funny, by my count Bama has had 11 of its 12 national titles WITHIN the last 60 years...and LSU can only say they have had more titles than Bama if you limit your history to only the last 4 years...that is pretty short term memory! Oh yes, and maybe most importantly, head-to-head Bama vs. LSU..Bama leads series 43-23-5...almost doubled up on you in wins. Its easy to talk when you've won a couple!

  • @eryan2369
    @eryan2369 Před 16 lety

    LSU had "decent talent" when he arrived there in 2000 as well and went 8-4, a bowl win will put Bama at 7-5 this year...not exactly a big difference, one game. And how did Saban do in the next couple of years at LSU?...I think we know, two more years to a national championship! It doesnt matter if he had "decent talent"...they played decent, they beat Arkansas...who beat LSU! They took Georgia to overtime, a top 5 team, beat Tennessee...they played decent.

  • @filcox
    @filcox Před 16 lety

    Um, if I'm not mistaken, we were running away with the game in the first quarter until we started "giving" the game away. Without our mistakes, that game isn't even close. Be happy you kept it close. Bama football is horrible.

  • @eryan2369
    @eryan2369 Před 16 lety

    You say they played "horrible this year" but you can only bring up two games to make your point?! Considering we beat Arkansas and you did not, we beat Tennessee like a drum 41-7, LSU had to squeak by them by a touchdown...and as far as "giving away games", Erik Ainge gave that one to you! You call our season "horrible" cause you want it to be horrible. But fact is it was decent, it had very high highs and very low lows, decent.

  • @LauraEfferson
    @LauraEfferson Před 16 lety

    Maybe Saban would coach better on a UL Monroe salary ... Saban almost got more this year per Alabama win than ULM coach Charlie Weatherbie gets for the whole year ($130thou). I figure that Saban got about $700,00 per win for Alabama ... WOW. So, if Bama wants to go 10 and 2, Saban needs to get at least 7mil per year. So, Charlie Weatherbie OWNS Saban.
