December 2nd 2021. Bama has won another iron bowl at Jordan hare this time in 4 overtime’s we are 11 wins and 1 loss. We got undefeated Georgia coming up in the sec championship game. We win were in the playoffs and are playing for back to back national championships to make it 8 national championships for coach saban and 7 at bama. Fingers crossed. Who would have thought we would be in the mist of a dynasty back in 07. RTR!

Joy was a hell of a man. When I was little I had the pleasure of visiting his home in Destin Florida quite a few times. My father and he were friends because Joy built fishing rods and my father taught people how to do so. He just popped into my head this morning and I decided to Google him and I can't believe that this video was up. I remember how awed I was looking in his room of memorabilia.

I met LTC Dunlap (Joy) through a mutual friend, Maj Haviland (Doug). Doug was a Vietnam Veteran and served as a Caribou Pilot. Both of these men were the type of guys that were very humble and the respect they had for country and just...being alive was very uplifting. I’m glad I got to know them through my military service! GREAT AMERICANS!

I've just realized why I love that sound so much - it's memories of being in the church 'family' with my childhood family, the organ music (sometimes a treadle organ in those 1950s), the caring, the love between people. Thanks for playing it, 'a joy to hear.

I didnt go to AUburn but my sister and best friend did so this was my first and only Iron Bowl I ever attended, because my best friend gave me his ticket for free because he said and I quote "you'rea biger AUburn fan than anyone I know that goes here, you deserve this ticket, go have a blast".....and I will tell you it's true....since my family is foregin they went to college in England so my big sister was the first person in our family to get into an American University. So when she got into Auburn I finally had a school to root for...unfortunately my parents really needed me to to stay in state (Valdosta State in Georgia) to save money and I couldn't go to Auburn but I continued to root for them Auburn like any loyal fan would and 11 years later I'm still one of the biggest fans u will ever meet. And that night was magical. Too bad this year we totally are busting after that loss to Miss St :(.......so I'm watching old clips to remind myself how great of a legacy Auburn has as a football team :)....you can't take that away

Say a prayer for his family, if you're so inclined. A friend tells me Joy passed away last night. I imagine that flight meant more to him than he could express. Partial obit: Joy Howard Dunlap Joy Howard Dunlap, 90, of Alabaster, Ala., passed away Sept. 24, 2013. Joy manifested a great deal of care for his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He constantly repeated his gratitude for his life as a Christian, a veteran and a family man.
