Man I love Travis Pastrana!! I love that he’s getting Ken Block into trophy truck racing as well, going to be great seeing them compete agaisnt each other! as an architect I got to work with him on a persona project of his and some of his nitro circus friends and he’s truly THE most humble guy ever!!! A world champ legend in 5 different motor sports now and you’d think he was jsut some cool guy that lives down the street meeting him, he’s never too good for anyone and loves to sign autographs anywhere any time! Congrats Travis , I knew you’d do nothing but excell in The trophy truck scene!

I went to this back in the 70s as a teenager when it was run out of Parker and called the Micky Thompson 400..
Those Trophy trucks and Class 1 buggys are sick.
I’m convinced Travis is part machine, this man dominates every Motorsport he takes part in from freestyle motocross to formula drift to rally and desert racing, what a legend.

Think about it, every year the trucks get faster stronger, bigger. They still break. There are no known materials that can withstand the test's and inevitable failures that come with a race like this. It truly comes down to being patient.

Where was the Corona truck? And Tecate used to sponser also. Yeah, that was kind of crappy...Red Bull announcers. I think he is an AUSSIE! There were probably a number of teams from Mexico/Baja in this race as there are in the rest of these series. This family has been in off-road racing for years. Racing isn't just in the USA.

i understand that the extra set of wheels mounted at the back of the trophy trucks, are there for changing in case of emergency purposes.But are they also a part of the aerodynamics of keeping the back of the truck grounded and more firm, or even balancing the weight of the truck better for the rugged terrains???????
