“Calm down black face” is a classic line 😂 gotta love that subtle racism 👌🏾
It's not, but ok lol
@@a-a-rondavis9438 Grow a pair
I can never forget that line. Its too much 😂😂
@@frazmeup your point is so misplaced I'm not even gonna mention it lmao.
@@a-a-rondavis9438 it’s not what... subtle?
Can we get a One Pound Fifty shirt ASAP please 😂😂😂 but with Mike's face on it 🤣🤣🤣 that would be epic
I second this
Could you add a Fred flintstone toothbrush to it as well
@@rmk2336 dude that would be legendary 😂😂😂

Spelled like "Wun £ Fi'ty"?
I’m white but grew up in a poor and diverse neighborhood. Real juice was too expensive to buy so there were other flavored options that were all sugar and dyes along with artificial flavors. So we thought we were getting juice hahaa. They even had chocolate drink to replace chocolate milk. Keep up the great work on this channel guys!
Yeah these jokes are generally meant to describe poor people but, black people are typically associated with poverty so we (black people) speak about stuff that’s applicable to other ethnicities as if it’s a black thing. That’s why most black comedians will say something along the lines of “when I talk about white people I mean white people with money” at some point in their careers. That statement implies that they know it applies to poor people from other ethnicities as well. It’s comedy though, generalisations and stereotypes are funnier than factual breakdowns of every topic. My point is that most people who grew up surrounded by poverty can relate, I grew up with a few white people (mainly Portuguese from the Azores) and we all knew that we were the same.
So a “Black American Neighborhood” Is Poor? Dear Lord.
@@TreyMessiah95lmao they don't understand the difference between projects and suburbs 🤣
First time I heard this special I was listening to it while I was driving and when the “grape drink” bit came on it was the exact time I was pulling up to a toll booth and the ticket taker was a black dude and while I was waiting for my change I looked in his booth and he had a carton of grape drink in there. It was uncanny.
🤣
😄
Lol I would’ve died laughing immediately 😂
Grape drink is good af though, man-don’t lie.
-another white guy
@@Scufflegrit my friends mom when asked us about which flavor Kool-aid we wanted she would she said " You want red or blue?" My homie was like "Those are colors not flavors" .....those meth days
7:50 bruh, that's 100% ACCURATE, they actually played the commercial to review this and buddy REALLY WAS staring at the grape juice 😂😂😂
The best part about his Sunny D bit is I've watched that commercial many times and that black kid is 100% eyeing that purple stuff and it's unmissable after it's pointed out.
Man I cant Wait for them to get into Eddie Murphy's Raw/Delirious stand ups
Can’t wait for them to change race
He is so good at storytelling and his misdirection is great. He uses it like half the time and while it's not his most prominent material, it's still super witty
Sugar water purple is legendary.
Yeah you’re right, it’s grape soda and grape flavoured drinks. It’s really funny because it’s kind of true (I do think it’s more of a poverty thing than a race thing though). Grape soda is my favourite soda and grape Kool-Aid was my favourite Kool-Aid, and a lot of my friends felt the same way 😂. I do love grape juice though, especially white grape.
same, I'm 1/4th black looking mostly white but I can't stay away from grape flavored stuff. My white family grape is whatever, but me and my black half grape drink 24/7 lmao
Grape everything tastes like cough medicine. Hate it.
@@darnarxz Yeah a lot of grape flavoured stuff tastes like medicine, specifically the vitamin tablets they used to give kids at school lol. But not the grape soda and drink I grew up on (Nu-grape and Kool-Aid). Since moving to England, I haven’t found a sufficient replacement for either so I don’t really even drink grape flavoured drinks anymore. Idk where you live but if you live in a place that sells real Ocean Spray juice then you should try the grape flavours. Some of the best juice I’ve had.
Poverty and race are quite tightly connected in the US though which is a huge part of this whole discussion about race. The other big topic being crime, but of course that just follows from poverty more often than not.
By the way, the best grape "drink" obviously is wine.
Fuck carrots! 😂😂 gets me everytime 😂😂
😂 finally some1 got that
Yeah that bit if not mentioned enough when people talk about Dave Chappelle
Dave’s quick comment about the Disney bucks was hilarious.
Dave Chappele legend
Yet no one can spell his last name right.
@@AngryJT *Chappelle 🐐👑
That Dixie Chick joke didn't quite register 😁. It only makes sense if you know American pop culture facts of the 2000s.
They made comments critical of then President Bush and where shunned by their largely Bush supporting audience.
He's not lying about what white people talk about when they're high....guilty as charged 🤣🤣
Grape ‘drank’ is grape kool-aid. 😂😂
Sugar,water,purple 😂😂😂
When i was at my Uni, my homie was like "Dude, id be so disappointed if i found out Mickey Mouse was Mexican." 🤣
This is true. I grew up broke in the hood and that grape drink comes in a gallon like a gallon of milk. But it's great drink and it's cheap like 99 cents in the early 90s
Man, Dave’s eyelashes are SO blond I always think he’s wearing white eyeliner for a sec. I’ve never seen such blond lashes. I’m kinda jealous… I’d be wearing colored mascara every day
When i was in high school EVERYONE was saying " Im Rick James bitch!!!" Even when it didnt apply to conversation. We just yelled it out all day 😂😂
Love Dave Chappelles stand up, I've seen this stand up countless times. Your reaction makes it even more entertaining to watch. I feel like that one friend who shows you something and knows the funny bits and waits to see oh will they find this funny?
I was watching Office Blokes when I got the notification 😂😂😂😂😂. Addictive channel
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think other reaction channels have done parts of entire specials like this. I LOVE this.
There are others but it is very rare, it seems.
Sorry man, but I’m correcting you. You’re wrong.
With that being said Office Blokes should be doing this more often.
I will correct you because you are wrong
Kidd and cee is another channel that do it
How is it even funnier watching it with you guys!!
Love your reactions guys keep it up. Especially Office Block Daz 😂😂 he's something else.
Please do more reactions to Dave Chappelle full shows especially his new Netflix specials like its the age of spin, the closer etc. Keep safe guys and keep doing what you doing 😁👍
I PRAY one day I see Mike in the wild and I have a chance to walk up to him and be like, "Excuse me sir..
WUNPOUNFIFTEH"
Wow that clip really cut off before Ja Rule? Best part, lol. I wonder how Ja Rule would feel about that.
Grape drink for most black people i know is just grape kool-aid. Kool-aid is literally sugar, water, and colored powder
Kool-aid is the bomb though. You can literally get a packet of lemonade and then a packet of whatever and make an awesome mixed drink. I like Grape/Lemonade and Cherry/Lemonade. Even tried adding cherries to the pitcher.
@@a-a-rondavis9438 i haven't had kool-aid in maybe 16 years. It's just too much sugar for me. But then again I rarely drink anything besides water. Milk is pretty much me switching things up lol
grape soda is black
grape juice is white
17:30 He's wrong at the fact it wasn't Washington who wrote the Declaration of Independence. It was Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and two more who I can't remember.
nevertheless he has a valid point
I've never said out loud "yes" to the upload of a CZcams video, that just changed
The grape drink and grape juice bit is a dig on cultural and class differences in America. I wonder if there's an equivalent in the U.K.
Family guy peter gets Cleveland to come outside by saying "Grape soda gram"!!
6:30, Grape soda yes. Family Guy even did a riff on Cleveland subscring to a Grape soda magazine.
I clicked this super fast!
You got it, it's grape soda. Can't even get mad, grape is one of the best ade flavours. Glad he pointed out the difference between 'juice' and 'drink'. Not enough people notice, even got people drinking 'juice drinks' obliviously.
Yes this just made my day a little better.
Welch 100% is a very pure form of grape juice there are many diluted versions of it.
Purple Drink is like drinking Shasta Strawberry in the blue can
Shasta lmao
@@D-money813 that Shasta tiki punch hit different
... you're thinking of grape Kool Aid
or purple dRank
Grape Juice is a 100% grape juice. Grape Drink is 10% Grape Juice the Rest of it is Sweetened Water.
10%? Lol
He’s clearly talking about Kool-Aid. Cmon guys.
There is no doubt the guy in the white shirt has the biggest sense of humor.
You said maybe the "I'm Rick James bitch" had died down as it got older but it makes me think of Christopher Walken, he did an snl skit in 2000 where he keeps asking for more cowbell and he said he still gets that to this day, even when he's just out eating. Lol
I love this special it’s great but then again they all are.
Grape soda is the stereotype for black people. Lol... Not grape juice.
In the 90s, WIC started making sure kids had juice. Four or Five cans of Juicy Juice for each kid every month.
Thank you for this! I’ve been eagerly waiting for the 4 parts :)!
Bout time you boys posted this lol
We all know we came here to see Daz turning red laughing 🤣
I'm a black guy and we love grape soda here in the bahamas
all i can say is SOMEBODY FIND JA RULE!!!
Grape juice is expensive compared to grape Kool-Aid. Otherwise known as grape drink. Grape soda is for special occasions.
6:35 it's grape soda, yeah.
You guys should react to Kerwin Claiborne voiceovers. He's hilarious.
@6:30clike he just said, the stereotype isn’t grape juice it’s “grape drink/grape soda” lol. I’ve never understood it myself though tbh, cause thru my years of going to a school predominantly black I could prolly count on one hand the amount of times I actually saw someone other than myself drinking grape soda haha. When I mean I haven’t even seen a 20 oz/2 liter of grape soda in literally forever now lol. But yeah, that’s one of those stereotypes I never got lol. And I also never understood the whole fried chicken and watermelon stereotype either, I live in Mississippi where the national bird is fried chicken lmao. But I’m all seriousness, like I said I live in a Mississippi and literally everyone here, no matter their color/race loves fried chicken and watermelon. Especially during the summer, I will literally buy these fruit trays with a shit ton of watermelon in it and can eat what is definitely a half a watermelon worth of it In literally a day or 2. Watermelon is one of if not my favorite fruit to snack on. There is nothing better than a big juicy piece of watermelon and then putting a decent sized shake of some sea salt on it and then smashing it lol. But yeah, I always wondered where that stereotype come from and feel like it has to be from people in the North, cause everyone in the South, especially where I live, regardless of race ears way too much fried chicken and I’ve never met someone in Mississippi thst didn’t like watermelon as well. Like it u don’t like watermelon we can’t be friends, cause I eat tf outta it.
Best in the Business!
Wait did you guys not do the racist gift basket by Gabriel Iglesias? The one from his Aloha Fluffy special?
Definitely grape soda guys. Haven't had it in months and now I'm starting relapse😂
I’m obsessed with Grapico..not Fanta Grape, not Crush or Welch’s..only Grapico will do. I discovered it after moving to the South.
@@rachaelwhite5961 Maybe I haven’t heard of it because I live in the north (assuming you’re in the UK). I haven’t found a grape soda that I like since moving to the UK and I love grape soda, Bigga is cool but it goes flat too quick.
@@justlooking1087 Oh Grapico is a Southern US grape soda that’s been around a 100 years. Never saw it in Michigan. I only drink full fat Coke(as they say in the uk which freaked me out) and Grapico lol
6:40 In predominantly poor Black neighborhoods the stores sell grape drinks (or grape soda) and frozen vegetables. Not juice but drinks and sodas. You have to go to predominantly White neighborhoods to get real juices and vegetables
Well it’s called a food desert. But grape drink is just grape Kool-Aid
Its grape soda that's the stereotypical black drink in them comedy acts.
I’ll preface this by saying I’m not American - I’m Canadian. The joke/stereotype of the “grape drink” is simply a comparison of the fortunate and the not so fortunate in America. Grape juice (typically made with real fruit) is more costly in North America than grape pop/drink (the former being canned soda and the latter being a blend of artificial juice crystals and sugar in a pouch that u mix with water). To keep within their family’s budget, alot of Black Americans would buy the drink crystals as they were cheaper and stretched further while White Americans, who are assumed to have higher income, could afford the real grape juice. I never grew up on a budget/impoverished and now would drink anything once I liked it. But when it comes to a can of cold grape pop…..SOLD!!!! That shit is DELICIOUS!!!! Lmao!
Chappelle for President!
Think that’s what drove Dave to quit the show and disappear from public eye for like a decade. That show was HUGE and he couldn’t go anywhere without getting that shit shouted at him
He said it was the 20 hour work days that did him in.
You guys should do Mark Normand out to lunch...really smart and funny
Grape pop (which I have some in my fridge now, lol), grape Kool-Aid (in my cabinet) and grape "drank" of which I'm not a fan!! Yes, I am black, lolol!!!
What he calls Drink white folk would call Koolaid.
Factz🤣💯
@@L.I.2RVA oh I know, I had both growing up. First of the month you got Koolaid when it was on sale 10 packs for a dollar, two weeks into the month when stamps was low and the first of the month sales was no longer going on then you got the 10 pack of flavor aid had two packs grape drink, two cherry, two strawberry, two orange, and either two apple or two lemonade
grape koolaide not grape juice haha
Do you guys have a podcast? I really enjoy listening to you
Beef, potatoes, onions, pasta.
It wasn’t what they said it was where they said it.
I believe this special might have been around the time prior to his breakdown . You tell by his demeanor that something wasn't the same.
I like chicken but Watermelon especially Foods/Candy with Watermelon Flavor i find disgusting. I am fine eating a normal watermelon but i wouldnt buy it myself.
Grape soda! 😂
GRAPE SODA!!!!
I always figured it was Grape Kool-Aid
First time I heard them mention Inbetweeners. That show was so funny. Check it out.
Dave, your story at the end reminds me of a bit Kevin Hart has where he hires SpongeBob for his kids birthday. I would love to see you guys react to that bit.
Grape Drink ie grape koolaid is a black thing
You have a link to your Premier League stuff? Do you support different clubs or all the same? Either way, love the content.
grape drank is grape kool-aid
juice drink is like kool aid
I know comedians who are the opposite of what you're talking about at the end. Craig Ferguson is a fucking MONSTER when it comes to his improv on his Late Show from years back, but I watched his standup and I didn't like it. You guys should really watch some Craig Ferguson Late Late Show bits. He puts ALL of the current Late Nite TV personalities to utter shame. It's a parody of itself now, not even a shadow of what it used to be. He was really, genuinely funny.
The grape flavored soda is known as grape Nehi
