The Kew Gardens 50p has grown so much In value since I bought one in 2018 for £85 , which seemed a lot of money for a 50p at the time but it’s now worth double , so not as painful of a price considering how much it’s worth now

Very informative video - thanks. I'd quite like one of those larger EU UK pres 50ps but the only way to get one now is the secondary market - my dream - as is so many others' - is to find a Kew Gardens - also the A-Z 10ps - I've not seen one yet except here and other places online. My Post Mistress friend from who I got 5 of the Jubilee 50ps was sent to another branch to train up the new intake - whilst there she obviously had access to bags and bags of change - she found ALL the A-Z's bar P for Post Office - which a friend gifted her for a birthday pressie! I'm also quite fond of the Isaac Newton - but not sure if this has entered circulation. But once again another great watch as always.

Another good video Christopher with a coin of great interest to many new collectors and good explanations. I was collecting pennies pre decimalisation and the Kew Gardens equivalent were 1950 (240,000) and 1951 (120,000) and we all lived in hope for a 1933 (6)!! Looking forward to more videos and something on spotting fakes would be informative and helpful for collectors. I have bought several from Aliexpress (including a 1933 penny) just to see what they look like in the hand. By the way I'm intrigued to know what is the 50 coin set on the shelf behind you.

Thanks for the interesting video on the Kew Gardens. - What I have always said to friends is that demand will determine price/desirability for a 'collector' item weither coins or books, games etc. - My family has several hundred books that are extremely rare, some that are mabye one out of 20 or 50 in the world but because of low demand they are basically worth very little, but still very cool to see or have.

There are lots of places online you can swap coins on. I wouldn't say any denomination is better but I'd say 50ps are more popular with collectors. -CC

another thing about the kew gardens copy is it is smaller than an original kew, i got one for my royal mint album and it just falls straight out the slot, eventually got an original couple years ago.
