I was coaching for a small semi-pro call of duty team in 2016 in Europe. After one event where the team placed top 3, it took over 4 months for the players to get paid, all while the TO held another even 3 months after. Extremely horrible financial mangement.
This is unrelated to this specific video (I haven't watched it just yet), but please never stop making your content your way. For me personally, you fill a unique space in the video/reporting medium that nobody else manages to do. Really solid stuff, man. Keep it up!
Thats why Kenny just rode the bench at G2, no one could pay the buyout, he damn sure wasn't going to it, and it made more sense for him to just ride the bench and get paid the remainder of the contract that he earned.

This was my life from 2004-2010. I loved CS Source, it was absolutely amazing to watch and play. Always had a soft spot for American teams when watching source back in the day when playstations were made of wood. I love how much history you can cover from the good old days Rich, amazing to hear shoutouts for some of the OG source players. Amazes me how long some of these guys have been playing. Legends. Used to love the fragmovie era :>

The absolute worst possible case for prize payment should be one quarter for the obvious reason that if your org isn't getting your revenue at least quarterly you're probably already not an org.
If actual budgeting was a thing people did the only reason for payouts not to be "day of"(in quotes because if they wire even if the money is sent day of it can be later, for example) would actually be special circumstances with a given player's bank, and even then what reasons exist for that to go past a week or two? Unfortunately, we're talking about one of the most incompetent industries in existence, held to standards lower than that of random youtubers running bounty events.
I really enjoy the flow of content lately, makes commuting easier.

The bubble is bursting for esports. All of these orgs are valued about as accurately as those crypto shitcoins.
Inaccurate to call a self funded team a bedroom org. Bedroom orgs are literally kids with no money running orgs in their actual bedrooms. If you look at alot of the tier 1 teams now, they were started as self funded orgs.

We get lots of promises but the money never turns up eventually u post about it and some people notice it if enough important people respond to it u can get something moving and perhaps get paid even but most of the time that money ain't coming homies
