Impressive work! I have a Tracker and as you said mine does bounce on that surface when chopping. I am not a hard use guy so I will consider to whether to change that portion or not.Great channel. Praise The LORD .

You have enormous patience to do all that grinding on a messed up blade , I bet that took a longer time than it appeared to Us ? Good job was done on it .

Looks you might want to clean your strops and reapply compound. Great video you put the performance of that knife on a whole new level

Could that work sharp be used to reshape a handle? There are some finger grooves I’d like to smooth out. Particularly the middle one on a tracker

Thanks for a great video. I have a badly misused Hawks Hellion that I bought for $40 after the original owner tried to 'modify' it. That Work Sharp might be just the thing to make it look less sad.

Great content. New subscriber. You should put a link on BushcraftUSA in the Tracker Action Thread. I recently purchased a Tops TB Tracker TB! & TB3, and joined the forum for advice on modifying the trackers.
Loved the scripture at the end as well.

Has anyone ever sharpened one of these knives on stones? This is the third video I’ve watched someone sharpen this particular knife on an electric sharpener. Not exactly a great field knife if you have to call it a day because your knife is dull, chipped, or rolled and you don’t have your handy electric sharpener with you.

Great job! Have you tried some kind of eraser on your belts? Cause 120 grit belt gets clogged up pretty quick.

For the Idiots that don't know the Tom Brown tracker knifes are for gutting in skinning instead of a Bush knife is not chopping blade it's not something to start walking on with tree limbs that's not made for that you don't want to go grinding my heat treated temper blade you want to use sharping stones now if you don't want one of those if you want something that's made for the Bush Then go online and buy a Bush knife it's that simple

Tracker knives are terrible for hunting. No blade design could be worse. First, its way too big and heavy... no precision and its unwieldy. How are you going to cut out a deer's anus with that without destroying the rear quarters? Skinning? Meh... its hard to get sharp with such a thick stock. Butchering? Too broad, and the "saw" would make a mess of things. Its billed as a survival knife, and a chopper, and its not good at that stuff either. In my experience, the tracker is only good at looking cool to a 12 year old boy. This particular knife was destroyed when it came in, and I did what I could to salvage it. It was kept cool during the grinding, and the temper was unaffected.

The curved edge plus how the handle is shaped it's meant to chop when you're kneeling down.

Why would someone destroy a knife like that . If you dont like the shape of the blade dont buy it.
