I have a 2001 Chevy pickup and what’s happening is that nothing wants to work on the passenger side rear I checked wires,fuses and light bulbs all good do you think changing the flashing module will work
I have a 2003 Silverado 1500hd that when I put my foot on the brake I have no brake lights or directionals and the indicators in both passenger and driver side mirrors light up could use some help please....
I have a 2004 Avalanche and a few days ago I noticed that the right LED mirror blinker was acting up sometimes working and sometimes not but all the lights came on as they should but I decided to replace all the bulbs. When I would turn on the right blinker it would work but the moment I hit the brakes the LED light on the mirror would go solid. I took my foot off the brake and the blinker would start working again. Hit the brake and it would go solid. Then a few days later driving with the same issue still not being resolved I turned on my right blinker and the cruise control would disengage. The left side has not shown any of these issues so far.
I have a 2000 Silverado and when I turn the ignition the left turn signal pops up on my dash without touching the turn signal switch. And when I turn the switch to use my left turn signal neither my rear or front lights blink but the left turn signal light on my dash stays solid
My truck is doing the same thing, when I turn on my signal to the right my high beams turn on i got a new flasher from autozone today and I installed it and it is still doing it,
Thanks for explaining diagnosis. My 2002 Avalanche started doing these unusual turn signal issues where the opposite side would weak light (kinda like 4 way) or sometimes it would work perfectly. I had corrosion in the distribution block for rear lights b/c the RR taillight leaked and filled with water, then water went down the wire inside the insulation and corroded the female connector. I replaced the leaking taillight, the harness, the distribution connection block. I still had same troubles. I replaced the relay module as it was cheap and seemed likely but it didn't fix it either. I am now guessing something is amiss in the turn stalk switch. Your video gave some insights on how to test it. Anyone have hints that would be great its driving me crazy.
@@lloydbrokeit3138 actually yes it was a ground issue. Someone else on Avalanche forum in the Midwest who's dealt with Rusty vehicles although mine isn't, told me that I should check the grounds. I did the one on the firewall and three down the frame rail everything I could find and then it works perfectly now!
I changed out that module and it didn’t fix my problem. When my night time lights are on my right turn signal is partially always not (not blinking) but partially on. When I say partially I mean that in my tow mirror it lights halfway, and my front lights light up halfway for a turn signal. Any idea? Help needed please!
If it only happens with the park lights on, and only the right side, I have seen a bulb filament shorting across. You'd have to take the bulb(s) out and check them. It could be something else too. You'll have your own version of What's Wrong With the Chev.
Great video! I have a 2007 Silverado 1500 classic with a strange problem. All lights work great. Issues are the high beams won’t work or the emergency hazards. But turning signals and brake work fine. Any ideas ?
My front left side turn signal doesn’t alternate from turn signal to day running light to create turn flashing pattern on my 06 chevy silverado what could it be?
I been trying my best to figure out what is going on with my driver's front turn signal on my 2003 Chevy Silverado it's not working but the side marker is flashing and I thought ok it's the socket so I just changed it and tried new bulbs still nothing any ideals what's wrong with it
@@albertquintero5412 yea I checked out the wire after removing old tape and wire loom and one of the wires was cut and after fixing that it works perfectly and I decided to fix the headliner so took it out and now the dome light doesn't work third brake light or bed lights don't work so now on to trying to fix that problem when I can get the time
@@albertquintero5412 well the guy that owned my truck before I got it he cut the trailer plug off and well all my taillights don't work the two top bulbs burn but the ones below them don't so yea more wiring to check out
Having an issue with my 2008 Hummer H2, I change out the fuse block, turn signal and ecm. I can't find a turn signal relay. My hazards work properly. I'm going crazy looking for a solution. Any suggestions?

I suspect you have a filament that's shorting - check the bulb. It could also be the flasher module but I'd start with the bulbs.

It sounds like it might be another issue or another issue in addition. Maybe the turn signal stalk?
I have a 2005 silverado when i put left signal acts like hazards right signals works fine also when i step on brake left signal dash light turns on?

If it's a weak light, that sounds like it could be a ground issue. It could be a filament issue - I've seen a short happen in the bulb.

I have a Suburban 04 and I changed my relay and still my turn signals and flashers don’t work.
Saw another video saying maybe check for corrosion on connections at junction box underneath back bumper.
i have a 1990 chevy k-1500 pick up, the turn signals dont flash on the dash , but do outside, 4-ways dont flash just lite up. will that part fix it?
That sounds like an issue with the cluster not the turn signal - might need a couple new bulbs in the cluster which is a common enough issue.
Try watching a video where it’s you’re truck he’s working on as it’s nowhere near the same truck .
What if i dont have any turn signal on the left side at all not even on the dash, unless i hit the locks on the key fob.
Not sure! Without looking at it, it would be hard to diagnose. I'd start by checking the turn signal switch

Saw a video that guy fixed his issues by cleaning up corrosion of connections at junction box under back bumper. Worth a try.
