I used to watch the van life channels all the time several years ago but they started turning drama into commodity, it was just too much, i stopped watching them all. I don't even know what made me look for the new channels but literally you, Mateo and Lars and your sister are the best and sweetest examples of what the van life can be. Best wishes for you, prayers for your safety and enjoy the adventure.

You might have thought about or mentioned this before, in case you have not, I wonder if you considered crockpot cooking. They are so inexpensive. I have been doing it lately because it’s been a little warmer in California 😅
Just rub or sprinkle with spices with a dash of broth and it’s ready in 6 to 8 hours (as you drive or camp)…lamb or beef just falls off the bone. Hugs to you and Adorable Lars 🙏🏻

Been watching from the start. I'm so happy you finally completed the new van. I would like to hear your on-the-road experiences, mostly as a young black guy.
I've been in a interracial marriage for 42 yrs and my hubby has had many encounters with profiling when he was younger. They would pull him over, search his car, finding nothing they then make some lame reasons they pulled him over like having a cover on the license plate, a car needing a paint job, things hanging on the rear view mirror,etc and send him on his way. They obviously was hoping to find drugs or him having a warrant, anything to arrest him. No, he wasn't a trouble maker nor got into trouble even though he grew up in Compton. His family moved away when he turned 18. Unfortunately, men if color seem to get harassed and profiled by cops so much. I was happy my son didn't have these issues due to the area we lived which was a more diverse community.
The fact that you travel thru so many different places, I would like to know how your experience's are thru each State. I truly look forward to your videos.
I'm disabled and mostly in bed so I tend to watch tv/CZcams daily as my leisure.

A lithium battery jump starter is definitely a must as a full-timer! It's saved me time and time again... also, I grew up in MN and sold my house there for my full-time RV journey!
