I know a lot of people talk about how animals like elephants receive too much funding compared to less well-known but also endangered species, but I really liked what the narrator said about "if we can't save elephants, what hope is there for the rest of Africa's wildlife". So true!

It is funny to read comments about video :) 1) This collar shows to scientist and authorities , important elephants route and allows them to make restrictions for farmers . So that route will not be blocked , and this will prevent human - elephants conflicts in future. 2) Heavy belt !!!! It needs to be heavy and strong. It sends signals to satelite once or few times a day , so battery should last for long period of time without change. For 5 ton bull such a belt is like delicate necklace for us :) So dont worry about its weight. 3) Other bulls are not his family . They are good friends and I am sure they will wait for him nearby and even if not, he will catch up with them in first Bar with cold beer :) 4) Dont worry about lions. For 5 tons bull they are like pests and they are afraid of him.

Elephants and people can live peacefully forever?
    Isn't that strange?
We humans have the problems nit these animals.
Because humans have no satisfaction we always crave for more and more until there is nothing left then we will come to realization that we did wrong but it's already too late.
In fact animals are more intelligent than humans because they know what they are capable of and what are their limitations. On the other hand humans also know their limitations but they often ignore it because of their desires. Humans never respect their boundary and limitations that's why some animals got extinct and the sad part here is human caused that extinction.

Or even worse, it being the oldest, was leading the other elephants to where they needed to go. The elephant/human problem is not rocket science to solve, STAY OUT OF THEIR ENVIROMENT, LEAVE THEM ALONE. You people are part of the problem as seen clearly in this video. The most beneficial action for this heard would be to use that helecopter for anti poaching, isnt it this that is driving them to extinction, not where are they wandering in their own enviroment.
