I made maus, the ratio between weight and width is gud, but the tank is kinda massive, 131tons to be almost exact. The tank steers kinda bad, and barely does 13 kmh. Basically a very accurate maus XD.

Here's wat I found about the crew efficiency:
Driver- more efficiency means better driving and gear changing
Loader-reloads faster
Commander-takes out the crew nerf
Gunner-idk
Radio-idk
U can enable and disable mirroring and copy parts with a key, go to settings and fin urs, I think mine aren't the default ones, I changed them. To me it's X to activate/deactivate mirroring wile holding the part, and left alt to copy a piece by hovering in the piece I wanna copy and press the alt key, or ur key
How to you fix the elevation and gun depression, for some reason am unable to aim the tank gun up and down?
@@DatBoi_TheGudBIAS if tank is 131 tons it means your armour is too thin or your ammo capactiy is too low. irl maus weighs 185 (ish) tonnes
From my experience having more than like 8 gears in the transmission leads to major issues and the vehicle will constantly swap between the top gears and like gear 8
That's more of a suspension + min/max RPM mismatch thing tbh

This game very badly needs to have parts labelled and tool-tipped so you can see at a glance what is purely decorative and what isn't. I was so confused trying to figure it out myself. >_

Another thing with fuel, external fuel tanks are actually more weight efficient than internal fuel tanks

Just a made a Tiger III with tigers 2 measurements, new hull and turret shape with 200mm armour, 130mm 840+ m/s cannon, and a massive V12 with 870+ hp and 8 gears.
Needless to say its not big enough and ill be making a multi turret landship after. JA HANS.

Exceeding max rpm leads to failures
You mentioned having to switch between AP and APHE manually, but didn't mention how. I didn't find a keybind in the games's settings.
You can switch between AP and APHE with the keys 1/2
I don't want to switch to APHE, unfortunately, in the current stage, the shell is MASSIVELY underpowered. Pen is nerfed alot, it needed to be around 75-80% of the normal AP pen, but it is like 50% or less of the AP pen, it sucks. AP is overpowered, hit kill anything basically, but I still load both types of shells

Hi. I like your videos and watched almost all of them. I tried everything and seems to come out all right. Just one thing I am struggling with. To resize a piece of equipment, e.g. a hatch. Keymapping says to use the Shift key, but I can't seem to get it right. Help please? Appreciate it.
Question what is a good length to width ratio?
If you plan on not changing the hull or turret much the default one is good enough, but if you want to change both you should just keep scrolling till you see a hull size that looks goos on what ur building

hey man i cant figure out why my tank slides around so much? Esepecially on that first mission, it just acts likes it got butter under its tracks and ive tried everything i can think of. i mean its basially unresponsive

thanks for the vid, very informative. I just really wanna know how to place a decal
I have learned that you need to click "place decal" on the right window that opens, then place the sprocket emblem on the tank. Once that is there, right click on the placed decal and you should see a white circle within it. THEN you can select the decal style from the bottom window. You can also adjust size like all other items once it is placed. Not the best system for decals, hopefully they update that soon. Lol

I just want to figure out why the gun elevation is only at 0.5 degrees a second despite being fully ballanced. I litteralt cant even have the smallest gun possible in game without having elevation exceed 2 degrees a second. Turret traverse is perfectly fine. But elevation i litteraly cannot get it higher than 2 degrees a second.
I want to make a tank just like the t34 but I don't know how to rotate the exhaust, anyone know?

Hey, I have a problem which is that whenever I load a certain tank and start the gun won't load and the turret won't move. When I fix the turret then play then unfix it and play again, it works perfectly fine, even after reloading the same tank or another tank and then again the initial one. Any idea what could cause this problem?
Check your crew. They need to be assigned to the right spots in the hull/turret to function. You probably have your loader in the wrong place

How do I freelook? I hold right click and drag but my view just stays still. (This is while designing).
Hold scroll button and then you can look around the tank you are building or while testing it holds turret still.
Why won’t my turret reverse?

Ask French about that. They have plenty of experience building tanks with 1 gear forward and 5 backward =D

You hold down the scroll wheel button and move your mouse, it really confused me too. Hope this helps

How do you make the turret bigger or smaller? You skipped right over that. You do it in the video, but you don't explain how. Judging by the community forum, this is the main problem with the game.
This is for an old version of the game. I have not played the latest version so I do not know whether it's still up to date with multi turrets etc
